### 4/5 — Cute indie point click adventure

*2024-01-06, version 1.60.0*

Nicely done for just a one-person developer. Love the rhymes in all the dialogues and the music.

### 3/5 — Dommage bug

*2023-03-15*

J’ai eu un bug qui m’a empêché de le finir

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear, what was the bug you experienced? Please write to
support@machineboy.com so I can take a look!

### 3/5 — Fun but short

*2022-11-21, version 1.3*

Very fun game with good puzzles, but for this price I would expect it to take longer to complete

### 4/5 — Fabulous game but a few bad spots for movement

*2021-12-16*

I’m an adventure gamer from the old days, so this hit the spot, perfect. Just one complaint: it’s too difficult to make some of the simplest moves that are required. Like for the life of me I cannot walk past the barn to the left most of the time when I try. Why is it so difficult?!?! So frustrating.

### 5/5 — moo

MOO

### 5/5 — Super jeu mais

*2021-06-25*

### 5/5 — Cool little story

*2021-05-17, version 1.3*

Great soundtrack, great story. Played this with my wife as our bedtime story over a few weeks. Loved it.

### 5/5 — Impressive Rhymes in Multi-Languages

*2021-04-03*

I love classic point-and-clicks by LucasArts and Sierra. This game very much reminded me and gave me that feel of old King’s Quest games, but especially Loom.

It is shorter than most adventures, but it is sophisticated. I am fluent in both French and English and found the translation of the dialogues impressively accurate while maintaining rhyme, and still giving the necessary hints to solve problems. These are for sure not “just translated.” A lot of thought went into it. I applaud the creator for this.

The story is sweet, and the puzzles not over the top difficult. It’s a friendly point-and-click for newbies.

### 5/5 — One of the best games i’ve ever played

*2021-01-02*

SO CUTE, and love the plot! Milkmaid of Milky Way is the most wonderful, well-designed games i have ever played. The amazing and beautiful creativity is truly inspiring. Highly recommended.

### 3/5 — Frustrating

*2020-10-24*

I really wanted to like this game, but I became increasingly frustrated by the combination of obscure puzzles / solutions and touch controls. The first issue could just be me being dense but the second is a problem: you have to be extremely accurate in placing where you want an item to be used. I wasted time by choosing the correct item, dragging it to the correct place to use it, but nothing happened, and then trying to find another non existent solution! Finally, having to check out a walkthrough video and finding out I was right all along was very annoying. This happened several times and I gave up and deleted the game out of frustration which is a real shame as there is much to like. I don’t like giving negative reviews but I hope this may be considered constructive feedback.

### 3/5 — Nichts für Tierfreunde

*2020-09-24*

### 3/5 — Boring opening

*2020-06-11*

The art and story are promising. I especially enjoy the rhymes. But the opening is just so slow and tedious. Puzzles basically consist of trying each object with each other object, and it’s easy to miss some objects since nothing is highlighted. I have to do mundane chores for a long time, which is not a great hook. For people who are more patient than I am, there may be much to enjoy.

### 5/5 — Similar to qfg, kq, adventure games

*2020-03-15*

Neat game! I think maybe five puzzles seemed very arbitrary to me, but the rest I could figure out. I got stuck a couple times apart from the arbitrary puzzles, but figured it out after scratching my head a bit. I recommend the game.

### 5/5 — Not updated for iPhone X and up

*2020-03-07*

Is it really that difficult to at least optimise it for those devices so it’s proper 16:9 ratio with black bars only on sides.
Because of that basically looks smaller on iPhone X than on iPhone 6,7,8.
Home bar visible all the time as signal, battery and time.
I know you’re just one guy but it would be great if you can fix it.
Cheers

Edit:

The game is so good. It was simply unfair and immature to review it so low just because of screen size.
I got full explanation why is so hard to change it without changing UI.
Is worth playing even if it’s not full screen.

Can’t wait for the next project!

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry to hear about your trouble. Unfortunately the touch/drag mechanic for the inventory interferes with the home button swipe on the iPhone X, so the game had to purposely be made smaller so it was playable (the iPhone X screen is also wider than 16:9 which the game was originally designed for). If you shoot me an email at support@machineboy.com I can send you a code for the Steam version instead. Best, Mattis.

### 5/5 — Fantastique.

*2020-03-05*

### 4/5 — Milky

*2019-10-04, version 1.3*

Cute little game. Wish it was longer.

### 5/5 — Très sympa

*2019-09-08*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2018-09-06*

Played monkey island years ago. What a game. This is on a par with gameplay. Unfortunately I finished it in an hour. For 3.99 I felt ripped off. Far too short for the money.

### 1/5 — I don’t want

*2018-09-05*

I wish for you to refund my money as I do not want this game

### 1/5 — so small screen on iphone x....

*2017-11-07, version 1.3*

Unplayable on new iphone x

### 2/5 — Really not very good, sadly

*2023-06-16*

I don‘t have a problem in general how short it is. Only that most of the time is spent running around. But there are more problems. First, navigation is absolutely horrible. You never know where you can go and where not. I spent a lot of time in the beginning because of this and I just could not find the salt. Second, while the idea of the rhymes is novel, most of them are so, SO bad, like written by 7 year olds or autotranslated from another language. The artstyle is often very crude as well. I am a big fan of point and click adventures and played all the classics. Some of them multiple times. I really wanted to like it, but honestly I am happy to have finished it and very likely won‘t touch it ever again.

### 2/5 — would've been 3 stars if the 🐄 didn't die

*2018-03-20, version 1.3*

moo-rder

### 2/5 — Decent

*2017-06-17, version 1.3*

This game looked absolutely lovely. The animations seemed fantastic and the plot looked unique. I spent about 4-5 dollars on this game and went in with very high expectations. And what did I get? At max, four hours of game play and a somewhat disappointing plot.

I have paid less money on longer, more developed games. The plot had amazing potential, and it was executed nicely, except for a few parts here and there. There were quite a few unanswered questions, and I can think of many places where the story could've been further developed. Things also seemed to move fairly quickly which is always a pet peeve of mine.

Honestly, none of these things would've been an issue if it weren't for the price. If it were $0.99-1.99? I wouldn't even blink an eye at these problems. But $4? Really? The content we were given wasn't nearly worth the price.

I gave this two stars because the price and amount of content ruined the game for me. I loved the characters as well as many other aspects of this game, but a lot of potential was lost. .

### 2/5 — Prettt good

*2017-01-11, version 1.2*

I'd give this game a 5 star review if it were just based on the story. Although this game is very good at the beginning and make sense what you have to do, as it goes on the game becomes more and more like you just have to put random things in random places. If this game made more sense in what to do and when it would be a much better game.

### 2/5 — Stuck!

*2017-01-10, version 1.2*

The game is cool. But got her stuck (even after the update) and had to restart. Giving up...

### 2/5 — Fun but a glitch...

*2017-01-08, version 1.01*

Enjoyable retro game, dreadful poetry (!), but once I made it to the biodome the game froze and Ruth will be standing there forever while the cows chew the cud. Tried rebooting but don't want to start all over again.

### 3/5 — Way too short

*2026-04-27*

This had potential to be an excellent P&C adventure game. The end should have been the beginning of the main adventure. I think I got maybe 2 hours of gameplay. Seriously disappointing.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Sympa 😊

*2025-10-18*

### 5/5 — Fantastic :-)

*2025-07-22, version 1.60.0*

Such a beautiful game!!

### 5/5 — Short and sweet!

*2025-06-24, version 1.60.0*

This is a shorter game (maybe 2 hours or so), but it’s a fun ride.

### 5/5 — Beautiful, soothing, fun

*2025-01-15, version 1.60.0*

love the rhymes!

### 5/5 — One my fav click and point games

*2025-01-03*

Honestly, for the past couple years I’ve been checking back on the developer and looking for similar games. This one is high quality, and one I’ve played at least 4 times over by now. If not more. Thank you to all who put the effort into this game. It’s so good 🤩

### 5/5 — Cute, quick game worth sticking with

*2024-08-07*

The beginning didn’t hook me the first time I tried to play, but I’m glad I came back to it. I enjoyed the whimsy of the game but also the heavy emotional impact of the ending. I don’t want to give any spoilers, but it resonated with grief I’m dealing with in real life.

Also, someone saying this game wasn’t worth $4 probably doesn’t understand the sheer undertaking of game development. Two hours of well-crafted puzzles and story is definitely worth $4, you’d pay as much to rent a movie.

### 5/5 — Delightful!

*2024-07-28, version 1.60.0*

Such a charming indie game. I loved it!

### 5/5 — Original and excellent

*2023-08-16*

Yes it’s got some hiccups here and there, but considering ONE guy did the whole thing, languages and all, it’s beyond impressive. The nitpicky reviewers should be ashamed of themselves; they’re putting big money game studio expectations on a one man band. I loved it, and thought the price was generous.

If the critics have a better game that they made by themselves, I’d love to see it. Since they don’t, I wish they’d think for a minute about what went into this, and perhaps realize that the creator had no financial incentive whatsoever to do all that work that they so readily dump on. Indie efforts like this should be lauded for the 99% that’s great, not berated for everything less than perfect.

### 5/5 — 🐄 gutes Adventure Game!

*2022-09-10*

### 5/5 — Interesting and nostalgic game

*2022-07-06, version 1.3*

Great fun
