## What is milkyway?

milkyway, where a universe opens the moment you pause

Some sentences make you stop mid-read.
milkyway is where the thought and the afterglow of that moment go.

One book and one line at a time, a universe of your own takes shape,
and it meets the universes of others who paused at the same book :)

- Notes for the moments you paused - keep what you felt, not just a highlight
- Questions that go further - a question lands on your note and carries the thought on
- Meeting other universes - find and share what others took from the same book
- A record that adds up - the books, the notes, the days you read become one trail

Right where you stopped reading, open a universe of your own

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 0.2.11 — 2026-09-21

A shared link used to be just an orb.
Now the moment you paused travels with it :)

- The line you wrote back then and the one you wrote now go together in the link
- Whoever opens it can see which stage your universe is at
- Fixed the write button covering text on the book page

### 0.2.10 — 2026-09-14

The universe you built from the moments you paused,
now it shows up properly when you share it :)

- A shared link comes with a card showing your stage and your record
- Opening the link brings up the same starry screen you see in the app
- Friends without the app can see it from the link alone

### 0.2.9 — 2026-09-08

- My universe now fits your screen. Everything on one page with no scrolling, and the orb is bigger
- The language chip on the home screen now floats in the center where you can see it

### 0.2.8 — 2026-09-04

- Lyra
