## What is Mímir?

Mímir is a private vault for your iPhone. Keep photos, videos and notes where only you can see them: no accounts, no servers, no analytics.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF LOCK
You don't type a passcode: you find your 4 pairs of Norse symbols on a board of 36 runes that shuffles every time you open it. Then Face ID or Touch ID confirms it's you. After three wrong attempts, the board locks for one minute. Your data is never erased for failing.

EVERYTHING ENCRYPTED
• Photos and videos are encrypted with AES-GCM before they're stored, thumbnails included.
• The encryption key lives in your iPhone's keychain and is released only with your biometrics.
• Leave the app and Mímir locks itself, and the app switcher never shows your content.

PHOTOS & VIDEOS
• Import from Photos and, if you like, delete the original afterwards.
• Shoot photos and videos with the built-in camera: straight into the vault, never into your camera roll.
• Organize them into albums with a cover and color.
• Videos up to 5 minutes, optimized to 1080p.
• Export whenever you want, always after Face ID.

NOTES
• Notebooks and plain-text notes.
• Search, and sort by date or name.

LINKS
• Save pages from Safari with the Share button, after Face ID.
• Organize them with colored tags and filter instantly.

YOUR ICLOUD, IF YOU WANT
By default everything stays on your iPhone. Turn on iCloud and your vault syncs, already encrypted, to your private iCloud database, and you can open it on another iPhone with the same symbols. We have no access to any of it.

NO SIGN-UP
No email, no password to remember. Mímir gives you a Norse god name and that's it. Forgot your symbols? Use Face ID to choose new ones without losing anything.

FREE TO START
Free: 1 notebook, 3 notes, 1 album, 3 photos or videos and 5 links. Mímir Premium removes every limit with a single payment, no subscriptions.
