## What is Mimora Arab?

Arabic letters aren't learned with the eyes. They're learned with the ear and with the mouth.

You hear the letter, you say it out loud, and the feedback comes back sound by sound — on your device, with no account.

THE 28 LETTERS, ONE BY ONE
Every letter has its point of articulation: the exact place in the throat, on the tongue or at the lips where the sound is born. They're grouped the classical way Arabic phoneticians grouped them — the cavity, the throat, the tongue, the lips, the nose — each one with a note on where to put the organ. The letter voices are human recordings, openly licensed and credited inside the app. Synthetic speech is only the backup.

A JUDGE THAT HEARS THE EMPHATICS
Ordinary speech recognition flattens Arabic: it blurs ص into س, ط into ت. So the letters are scored by a model trained on Arabic, one that tells them apart. It doesn't travel inside the app: it comes down once from Apple's servers the first time you enter a pronunciation workshop (about 600 MB — you need a connection that day). Until it's ready, the app says so instead of showing you a score it doesn't believe in.

EAR BEFORE MOUTH
كَلْب / قَلْب, سَيْف / صَيْف, تِين / طِين: seven pairs of words that differ by a single sound, and mean something else entirely. The master says one of them, you pick the one you heard. You only produce well what you can tell apart.

WHAT YOU WORK ON
• The 28 letters: discovery one by one, then the whole alphabet rapid-fire at the microphone
• First words: easy sounds only, with transliteration and meaning
• Flash challenge: letters, words or sentences scored rapid-fire, in runs of 5, 10 or 15
• Sentences: the Mirror layers your voice over the master's — on headphones, you left, him right
• Diction: reading aloud, melody (your intonation curve), tongue twisters, linking words
• Challenge: one target sound held under growing load, from word to paragraph, then the diagnosis

COMING BACK AT THE RIGHT TIME
Sounds that are still shaky come back on their own, at widening intervals. You plan nothing, you just repeat. "My mastery" shows where you stand, sound by sound.

ON YOUR WRIST
The Apple Watch companion trains the ear: ten sound duels back to back, about ninety seconds, hands-free. It also has you repeat words after the master. It doesn't score: scoring lives on the iPhone, and the app says so rather than letting you believe otherwise.

YOUR VOICE STAYS WITH YOU
Everything is analyzed on the device, speech recognition included. Your voice is sent to no server — we run none at all. The only thing the app downloads is its recognition model, and that one comes from Apple. No account, no ads, no trackers. Deleting the app erases everything.

THIRTEEN LANGUAGES
The interface and the explanations exist in Arabic, French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Switch language whenever you like, without leaving the app.

WHAT IT IS NOT
Not a grammar course, not a conversation course, not a translator. Here you work the letters and the sounds — the ground everything else stands on.

Five new lessons free every day; listening, browsing and checking your progress always stay open. An optional subscription unlocks unlimited practice.

No app replaces practising with someone who speaks the language. This one handles the quiet work that comes first: repeating calmly, getting it wrong with nobody listening, and turning up with an ear already trained.
