Mind Cards is the perfect quick play solitaire game. It’s easy to learn and there’s lots of variety. The design and UI are great, and the play is well balanced. And, like his other games, it doesn’t take up much space and hardly uses battery. This developer’s games have now become my favorite all-time go-to games. They’re clever and have unique features that to me make them more enjoyable than other similar ideas out there. Thank you! ### 5/5 — Amazing! Des cartes aux effets parfois peu clair mais très fun a prendre en main, (le fait de corrompre va à chaque fois retirer une unité de puissance à la carte corrompue à chaque tour, c’est très astucieux!), des visuels à la progression, tout est bien fait. You play, get new cards and thats it. Also the design is very nice. Theres just one thing. Sometimes the card descriptions are a bit confusing and for example the card “Chalice”, i thought you use it a then once you run out of food you get 8 gems, but it works differently. Also the use of the word “game” in the descriptions, because it sounds like the whole game from start to finish and not just the cards that are in front of you. I really just wish there would be an update featuring new cards, backgrounds, quests and maybe boss levels if possible. To people who say they can’t get a score above a hundred it is possible I just got a score of 111 and is not my first. It is difficult but very possible keep trying it took me awhile. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 2/5 — Good but.. *2019-04-27* Well I really enjoyed this game at first however if you complete quests before they show up then you can’t progress to the next level...I currently have a full set of cards and my quest is to get 30 of them...it won’t let me advance ### 3/5 — Cool concept but sometimes annoying *2018-08-02, version 1.0* Cool concept for a card game but sometimes it’s nothing else than annoying, especially when you don’t get cards with food and health and all you get is monsters. ### 3/5 — Fun and well-designed solo card game, but... *2018-07-29, version 1.0* This is a well-designed and easy to learn and play solo card game in the vein of something like Card Crawl. Two changes would invite me to keep me playing, increase this rating to 5 stars, and contribute some $$. First of all, and this is a total dealbreaker for me... the app won’t allow you to play audio outside of the app, even with its own audio turned off. That nearly had me deleting the app before even trying the game. That needs to be changed before I’ll ever play it again. Also, giving it a chance for a few games (because it looked fun, and was fun enough when I played), it seems too easy. Perhaps something changes over time in terms of difficulty, but as it is, it was always a breeze to win a round, and it seems like that might only be more of the case as you gain new and stronger ability cards. So the balance seems a little off as far as that goes. Not terribly so, though. Note: I would have preferred to send this directly as a message to the developer, but the support link page doesn’t have any means of contact. ### 3/5 — Not much content *2018-07-28* It’s fun playing the first few rounds and buying a couple of cards but then it just gets really repetitive and boring. ### 4/5 — Short and sweet *2023-08-09* Great filler and the unlocks make me want to do another run. The bad things are that you can't play your own music while playing the game and the sounds effects just straight up don't work sometimes. As far as I can tell, it’s only good for completing quests. Seems to have no effect on the gameplay. Still, I enjoy this game quite a bit. However, I listen to podcasts while playing games and this app will not allow you to listen to your own audio while playing, even if you turn off the in game sound. This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine , especially for a game that does not require in game music for ambience or immersive game play. ### 4/5 — Great gameplay *2019-05-04* It’s truly a nice addictive game with challenges and progress. Can be played for minutes or hours.
