Like good old shoot-em ups, but without shooting, and a slower tempo. But where’s the sci-fi in this mechanics? The only sci-fi is a series of slides that you unlock as you progress. The icon of the game is a bit misleading because is a drawing of one of these slides, instead of colored balls, the main thing that you see through the game. Also, where do the microtransactions exactly fit in this sci-fi world? I paid to get rid of ads because I don’t think games should be free, but randomly presenting me with banners that say “Forever x2” that redirect you to the shop, or more banners to watch ads, even after having paid for not having to watch ads, or trying to sell “squares” (the in-game currency) for ¥11,800... (guys, remember a PS4 game is half that price...) these things remind me I’m just playing another mobile game that wants to get me hooked and pay & pay. I don’t blame developers for trying to make a living and falling for the current trends in mobile gaming, but I wasn’t expecting that for a hyped “sci-fi game” featured in the app store. It does not have a deep story nor much explanation on how to play. It throws you in and expects you to understand all that is happening. Perhaps a 3/5 stars if you are looking for a game to play for 5 or 10 minutes while you wait for a table at a restaurant to open up. However, I was told this game would be deep and addicting. In reality this game is unnecessarily difficult right out the gate. The controls are sometimes too sensitive and sometimes unresponsive, the music is bland, the story is poorly written and takes far too long to progress to each chapter, and your finger will be in the way for more than half the time. I cannot recommend this game to anyone. **Developer response:** Thanks for trying it out— I wanted it to be a game you could play in 5-10 minute sessions but still unlock a story as you went. I couldn’t even get to chapter 4 before I just decided to quit. Not to mention the short little glimpses of story you get with every chapter. After a while you get to a point where you need power ups or you just won’t beat the level, but the artwork is beautiful and the story should have more work put into. P.S. I mean no bad will to the developer(s) you seem like a nice person. Who can take constructive criticism. Keep improving! **Developer response:** Thanks for trying it out-- to be honest I hoped the levels had a zen like feel to them so that just playing was rewarding enough, and then unlocking the story is just an added bonus. ### 2/5 — Change orientation *2018-01-23, version 1.1* Too many games on iPad require me to turn the iPad the wrong way for comfort. I also find it annoying to bring up the bottom tab when trying to capture at the bottom of the screen.
