Probably the very worst game for ads. It shouldn’t be called ‘Hidden Code’ it should be called ‘Bomarded by commercials’. ### 1/5 — Don’t even waste your time downloading *2026-07-16* You could at least wait until your tutorial was finished before you throw ads at people . How are we even going to get a chance to like the game , which if we do we then tolerate the ads . This game, if you can really call it that, is a ridiculous amount of adds. The “puzzles” are so easy that each add you are forced to watch after solving, or not solving, the puzzle takes longer than it takes to solve the puzzles. I spent too much time going further in the game hoping the “puzzles” would get better or more interesting, but they don’t. I accidentally transposed two letters when tapping and had to watch an ad just to be able to type them in the correct order to solve the “puzzle.” Also, an ad banner lives at the bottom of the screen and any tap anywhere on the screen will select the ad at the bottom and take you to the website. Yeah, there are ads but the most annoying is having to watch an ad after every single attempt. Puzzles themselves are fair and typical of this sort of game ... now that I'm thinking about it three stars may have been generous... ### 3/5 — Waaay too many ads *2026-07-16* Oh come on! I’ve downloaded plenty of games where “too many ads” has been the chief complaint, but this is just over the top. An ad before or after every level would be fine, but this has ads when you open the game, when you click on a puzzle, when you’re in the middle of a puzzle, if you submit a wrong solution, and sometimes they just pop up for no reason at all. It’s such a short game and the puzzles are so simple, it’s just not worth the download. The vibe is good, it’s visually appealing but the amount of ads is honestly insane.
