### 4/5 — Fun, but tedious

*2026-07-16*

Starting off, I liked the game. I liked how the hints weren’t always so subtle, and how the corridor deceives you. I made it to door 358, but it felt very tedious to me. After a while, for me at least, once you’ve understood the hints and patterns it feels less rewarding, and almost as if you’re TRYING to die just so you can start a new run. Especially with how generous the corridor is with items, it gets less and less difficult, and I don’t have a goal to look forward to, seeing as the corridor is endless. I think it would be more engaging if there were certain goals, like finding objects in specific rooms to get a permanent upgrade or something.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! You've nailed a few of the things I'm actively working on. It's been wild how fast the game grew and all the content got cleared, it's been hard to keep pace with it!
The "no long-term goal" point especially is one I'm already building toward. An endless Corridor is great and all, until you've mastered it, and then it's just… endless. That's exactly what the next series of updates is being built to fix. Getting to door 358 means you've got the patterns down. My job now is giving you a reason to keep climbing! Thanks for sticking with it and taking the time to write this up. I really appreciate it!

### 5/5 — d o o r

*2026-07-10*

An awesome game! It has only optional ads which is the main thing I dislike about most mobile games. The developer is great and listens to any suggestions you have or any complaints.

### 2/5 — Broke??

*2026-07-10*

this game is good and I like playing it, but all of a sudden, my screen turned black. i dont know if this is my phones fault or the games fault but can my question be answered? i clicked new run btw before it turned all black. the only things i could see were the hints and helpers, arrow to go back to the homescreen, and the settings button. of course they didnt work though. i have to re download the game and everything to play again but then it happens again-black. this makes me lose all my progress.

**Developer response:** Hello - It's hard to determine the exact reason for something like this without more details. Is there any chance you can join the game's Discord server through the button in the "More Options" menu on the main screen? I'l love to get some more information and track this down.

### 5/5 — Something New, Done Well!

*2026-07-02*

Even if I didn’t enjoy playing this game, which I do, I would still applaud the developers creativity and the way they’ve handled ads.
The developer suggests not overthinking your choice of doors. That’s probably good advice, but I’m guessing that lots of overthinking was put into developing this game. There are complex layers of hints and red herrings that can quickly have you second and third guessing just what that wily corridor is telling you… or wants you to THINK it’s telling you.
 ;-) A unique pleasure.

### 5/5 — Awesome 🤩

*2026-06-29, version 1.1.4*

It’s such a great game but I have 1 complaint, it overheats my iPad so I can only play it for a couple minutes

### 5/5 — So simple and so addictive!

*2026-06-26*

This game is brilliant, diabolical fun. Every time I make it a level higher, there’s a sense of ‘phew’. The clues are clever but not obvious, the red herrings are evil little traps, and the occasional portal zooms you several levels ahead. There are a few scattered puzzles to earn some extra tools (hints, etc.) that are challenging but not hard and they can be skipped.

No ads unless you ask for a redo or extra tools…totally optional. And if you die…start over. See how far you can make it. Try to remember to breathe.

### 5/5 — Game Stopped Workimg

*2026-06-24, version 1.1.4*

Won’t Load

### 5/5 — Darkly enternaining

*2026-06-24, version 1.1.4*

Maybe it’s the snarky comments. Maybe it’s the challenge. Whatever the reason, this game’s a blast. Quick play, fun, and oddly relaxing. Wish these folks would develop more games in this vein. And — no paywall, no ads, no garbage!

### 5/5 — The corridor approves…

*2026-06-23, version 1.1.4*

This is a really fun game. You’re just picking a door, but you have to pay very close attention or you’ll die. I like that it doesn’t force you to watch ads after every death. The only complaint is that it makes my phone a bit hot if I play for a while.

### 5/5 — Good time filler and no ads

*2026-06-22*

Prepare to be insulted. Simple choice game to occupy your time and sanity. If you fail you start again. You don’t have to watch an ad to start a new run. You can choose to watch ads to get second tries, more tools, etc, but you are not forced to watch ads to play this game.

### 5/5 — Love it!!

*2026-06-17, version 1.1.4*

I’m so obsessed with this game! The new update was VERY exciting to wake up to. I love The Corridor’s sassy personality.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-06-16, version 1.1.3*

Very hard to find good free games these days and I'm glad i stumbled across this

### 5/5 — Love it💕

*2026-06-06, version 1.1.3*

It's very interesting and I like how it's an offline game!

### 5/5 — My current obsession

*2026-06-06*

I absolutely adore this game. It’s got beautiful art, no forced advertisements, and a well-done reward/incentive system that keeps the player coming back. I only have one complaint: while I do think this dry, flat humor is executed very well, and I do find myself giggling, the narrator is… overdoing it. If the dragging deep voice and slow commentary is meant to make fun of edginess, which i hope it is, it’s a little too realistic to do a good job of mocking. Either way, it feels very much so like it’s trying to mock the voice and cadence of a movie supervillain and it instead misses the mark. Other than that minor critique, I truly have nothing but love for this game. It’s extremely fun, just the right mix of challenge- putting trial and error with real randomness is perfect. I love this game.

### 4/5 — Fun but repetitive

*2026-06-05, version 1.1.3*

looked fun was fun but kinda got boring

### 5/5 — THIS GAME IS AMAZING

*2026-06-01, version 1.1.3*

I LOVE THIS GAME. The community is amazing, the game has a beautiful design, its all so beautifully crafted. I LOVE IT!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — AI slop at it’s finest!

*2026-07-29, version 1.1.6*

It tries to be clever but instead is just slop.

Looks like all the reviews are also that. Deleting now.

### 1/5 — shame

*2026-07-15, version 1.1.6*

this is just a coin flip simulator with extra graphics. obvious ai use (no cohesion in how anything relates to each other, "hints" are random symbols/images/objects strewn about, dialogue and quotes entirely unrelated to what's actually going on, etc), lack of any engaging gameplay, unexplained mechanics with no logical way to figure anything out besides literal guesswork. i get where the dev is trying to go with this, but it ends up being boring and uninspired. its honestly a shame.

### 1/5 — Lamp Powers reduced heavily

*2026-07-07, version 1.1.4*

The lamp powers seem to be nearly ineffective as they once used to be. Now apparently if you tap it too many times you’re punished rather than rewarded or nothing happens.
I didn’t earn all those offerings for nothing.
And my lamp power is level 4 out of 5 levels.
This is no longer a fair game unfortunately.

### 1/5 — Vibe Coded

*2026-06-14, version 1.1.3*

Genuinely feels like it was made with an LLM. The description was definitely written with an LLM. Even the developer’s replies seem LLM generated. Yeesh.

### 1/5 — Boring

*2026-06-01, version 1.1.3*

Yup

### 1/5 — Would be cool if I could get to door one

*2026-05-30, version 1.1.3*

I loaded up the game clicked onto door one and the screen was black apart from thee hint button

### 1/5 — Pointless

*2026-05-30, version 1.1.3*

Not a game. Just a simulation for boredom and the chronically bored. Skip this one

### 1/5 — Dull

*2026-05-24, version 1.1.2*

Found this game very dull and uninteresting

### 1/5 — NOT FOR THE DAILY GAMER

*2026-05-03, version 1.1.0*

it comes off as simple and it is, but it’s also over immediately. This is a game of choosing yes or no, 50-50. There’s no skill involved you’re just guessing every time. I’m not sure who likes this game but apparently there are people who like this game. I’m just not one of them. I would give it zero stars if I could, but I can’t register the review without giving it at least one star.

### 1/5 — Fully Luck Based Game Without Any Purpose

*2026-05-02, version 1.1.0*

I played it for around an hour, and I have come to the conclusion that it is fully luck based. There is absolutely no way you could guess the correct door based on logic, as there game does not give clues at all. I tried looking for what the purpose of this game is, but it seems like it’s just about guessing doors. The farthest I have gone is door 7, and I used all three hints that are provided. I don’t really know why this game even exists

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I can’t just pick a door.

*2026-08-31*

The corridor has taken my soul way more times than I would like to admit. I appreciate that the developer is not greedy with ads after every door like i had expected before installing the app. I install games to try and then delete when they inevitably turn out to be a pause within ads to play the game. Pleased to say that all the ads I watched were to earn Corridor’s mercy and not because I was forced to.

Aside from this obvious win, the game play itself is fun and exciting. It keeps the excitement as doors don’t repeat.

P.S. Will not be deleting the app.

### 5/5 — This game is super interesting

*2026-08-18*

the gameplay has interesting lore elements that really caught my eye. Like the items you seemingly randomly get, the pictures behind paintings, and the corridor themselves really make you wonder what the story of this place is. The gameplay itself is incredibly fun as well, with all the puzzles and random rooms. I haven’t tried out the new game mode yet but I’m sure it will be incredibly fun just like the rest of the game. Overall 11/10 should definitely be on game theory.

### 5/5 — Excellent game for the detail-oriented, anti-ad crowd

*2026-08-07*

I started playing this game to fill time, but there’s more to the gameplay than meets the eye. Attention to detail is necessary. Clues can be helpful, harmful, or neutral. As for ads, this game respects your time and attention - you can play it without clicking to watch a single one, and you won’t get jumpscared by any. The game is suspenseful enough lol The developer wants to create a game they’d like to play, and many of the improvements you experience are based on player feedback in Discord. (also, I love the puzzles in the game)

### 5/5 — Animations?

*2026-08-02, version 1.1.6*

Hi my name is zacari this game is very fun and challenging! I am just wondering could you please make an animation of our death?

### 5/5 — Figured out simplicity is awesome

*2026-07-27, version 1.1.6*

Developers got it figured out, no frills but plenty of thrills. Really enjoy this 50/50 roll of the dice! 5 stars!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-07-15, version 1.1.6*

This game is so well thought out and well crafted. It is amazing that there is only ONE developer for this game!!! And no generative AI! AND NO FORCED SPAM ADS!!!! this game needs more support and love it is truly a diamond in the rough.

### 5/5 — I love how this game pisses me off in a good way only 🙄🫢

*2026-07-15, version 1.1.6*

Like this game is so fun because I have to pace and time myself before choosing a door , I wish there was more games like this and apps like this , but sadly there are not .

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2026-07-12, version 1.1.6*

I really love this game and I wish that since they updated it that there was furniture in the rooms when you click on the right door and I also wish when you hit peak like you can actually see in the door I feel like that would be so cool!!!! Other then that it is so fun and I love it!

### 5/5 — The best blippi game ever

*2026-07-11, version 1.1.5*

Fnf

### 5/5 — so fun

*2026-07-11, version 1.1.5*
