## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.0 — 2026-09-04

Now you can automatically journal multi-speaker conversations, not just yourself. Talk something through with someone and record it. MiND works out who's who, then writes the entry from your side — it names who you were talking with, and what they said arrives as them telling you, not as something you did. A quick chat stays short; a long meeting gets the room it needs. Voices are matched against the people already in your journal, so a recording comes back naming the people in it.

Open any recording, upload or chat to read the original turn by turn — and re-process it from scratch if you'd rather have a different entry.

ALSO IN THIS RELEASE
• Recording keeps going when you leave the app or the screen locks.
• An interrupted recording is no longer lost. It's picked up on the next launch, and you can retry it yourself if something went wrong.
• A thought you're part-way through typing is kept, so leaving the screen no longer loses it.
• Entries from recordings and chats come back in real paragraphs instead of one block.
• Sharper transcription, and the people and places in your journal are spelled the way you spell them — in the entry and in its title.
• An interrupted chat can be finished or deleted instead of sitting there, and a long chat no longer risks the app being shut down.
• Typed thoughts keep your original text, so you can always see what you wrote first.
• Faster startup, and syncing no longer freezes the app while it works.
• Fixed a sync gap where a thought saved on one device could be skipped and never arrive on another.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-22

Four ways to get a thought out of your head — and MiND does the writing.

RECORD AUDIO. Just talk. MiND transcribes what you said and turns the sprawl into a finished journal entry.

CHAT IT OUT. Not sure what you think yet? Talk it through in conversation, and MiND writes the entry from what you worked out. It already knows the people and places in your journal, so you're not explaining who anyone is.

UPLOAD A TRANSCRIPT. Drop in a meeting or a long transcript and get back one cohesive entry, with who said what kept straight.

IN YOUR OWN VOICE. MiND builds a writing-voice profile from your own thoughts, so entries it writes for you sound like you wrote them. Rough jots get completed into real sentences; long material gets distilled down to what matters. It never puts words in your mouth — nothing gets added that you didn't say. And when a scrap is too thin to work with, it's kept as a draft for you to come back to.

ALSO IN THIS RELEASE
• Chat opens in one tap, shows you when it's thinking, and every entry it writes keeps the original conversation.
• Your "Me" profile stays a single thread across devices, and you can add to it by chatting from the thread itself.
• Typed thoughts now appear the moment you save them, instead of waiting on a location fix.
• Sync is far more reliable: a device can no longer quietly stop syncing, and stars, review counts and edits made on one device are no longer overwritten by another.
• Stars, reviews and classifications reach your other devices in seconds.
• A tidier capture screen, and the starred shortcut now works properly on iPhone.
• Your own formatting — lists, line breaks, bold, quotes — survives distillation.
• Less background network and battery use.
