### 2/5 — Decent when it works

*2026-05-09, version 1.1.33*

The sounds help a lot. The problem is the app will constantly log you out for no reason and then lock you out.

### 3/5 — Tinnebot locks up

*2026-04-29, version 1.1.33*

Unfortunately, the Tinnebot part of this app has been locking up on a regular basis. It happens in the middle of a session and then the only thing to do is start over. I’ve been using the app a week after paying for it and the lock ups have happened four or five times. To maintain progress you have to complete a session so I’ve had to go back and do each of these Tinnebot sessions a couple of times to get through.

While I like the app overall, I wish there was less reliance on Tinnebot. Besides the lock ups the other issue is that Tinnebot asks open ended questions but doesn’t really use what you say in a way that modern AI would be expected to. You can type gibberish and it will still plow ahead. The concept of an AI assistant is very promising, but the current Tinnebot implementation is too old school scripted and mechanical.

### 3/5 — Don’t give up!

*2026-04-19, version 1.1.33*

Learning as much as you can help to understand the problem

### 4/5 — Helpful App

*2026-03-27, version 1.1.32*

This app has several different items that are helpful in controlling your thought patterns around tinnitus. The soundscapes, activities, meditations, and video call with a tinnitus specialist are good
tools to use in dealing day to day with your tinnitus.

### 3/5 — Don’t give up!

Learning as much as you can help to understand the problem

### 3/5 — Tinnitus

*2026-02-27, version 1.1.31*

Just starting but seems good

### 4/5 — Very good for self guided approach, only...

*2026-02-17, version 1.1.31*

I am weary of being kicked off every few weeks and having log in again. I automatically pay the monthly fee to access the soundscapes and don't appreciate the inconvenience of having to dig for my password info.

### 5/5 — Essential

*2025-03-21, version 1.1.21*

Im 4 months into my tinnitus journey and this app has been essential in improving life with the T.

Sound therapy, educational videos, 1 to 1 session with a tinnitus expert, CBT, mindfulness & full body scans - these tools have made such a difference , I’m not sure how I would have found T relief without this app.

### 5/5 — Very Helpful

*2025-03-17, version 1.1.21*

I am new to tinnitus and this app but so far it has a lot to offer to help understand, manage and get relief for this condition. There are soundscapes, informative videos, cbt exercises and you get a free consult with one of the experts. I am already starting to feel hopeful on this journey. Thank you to the team!

### 5/5 — Needs some attention

*2025-03-17, version 1.1.21*

Resolved!

### 5/5 — Mark

*2025-03-02, version 1.1.21*

MindEar is a fantastic and holistic solution for people with tinnitus. I developed the problem about six months ago and like a lot of people, was suffering from anxiety and poor sleep. The MindEar team were fantastic and very passionate about their work and go above and beyond in helping their patients. The app itself is well designed and offers soothing solutions and good advice. I personally benefitted the most from the community and the interactions with Dr Fabrice who is amazing and always helpful. I recommend the program for everyone and six months later, I am feeling significantly better than before

### 5/5 — There is tinnitus help!

*2025-02-20, version 1.1.20*

I can’t say enough about the MindEar app. It is full of an amazing amount of scientific-based research and information on tinnitus, guided meditations, mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques, podcasts, sound therapies and so much more. I took advantage of the 12-week coaching sessions with Dr. Fabrice Bardy. In a safe and welcoming environment Dr. Bardy taught us about tinnitus and its effect on the brain. We were taught extremely helpful techniques to live with tinnitus which have greatly improved my life! If tinnitus is negatively affecting your life, then you should definitely get the MindEar app now!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not user friendly - useless

*2026-01-30, version 1.1.29*

The font was so large I couldn’t even get past the start up pages because the font wouldn’t allow me to press continue button. Waste of time.

### 1/5 — Shrug?

*2025-12-14, version 1.1.27*

No idea how to use this app.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-03-29, version 1.1.21*

The app is slow and doesn’t always function. It tries to enforce the idea of mind over matter relating to the problem. Just forget about it and you’ll be fine!

The developer has asked me to reconsider my review as they work hard to help people with tinnitus. I can accept that they are sincere in their efforts. At the same time I feel this app might not be for everyone. It certainly does nothing for me. My ears never stop ringing and the app does nothing to curtail that. If you need reassurance that you are not alone in this world with your tinnitus this app may be for you. It may provide you with ways to cope with the problem if that works for you. It is however not a magic bullet.

After receiving emails and reminders about the developer’s response to my criticisms and their offer to help troubleshoot my internet connection, I assure you that I use Wi-Fi provided by fibre or 5G when using the app. The MindEar app and its inane AI responses to small talk questions do nothing for my tinnitus and only make me wish I didn’t have this condition. I stand by my review and cannot recommend this app. Please accept that your app doesn’t work for everyone. I wish the MindEar team the best in future app development.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-03-25, version 1.1.21*

This is complicated I am extremely frustrated!

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2025-02-03, version 1.1.20*

I asked for help and got an AI response.

### 1/5 — Not for me

*2024-12-13, version 1.1.17*

Unfortunately, this app did not work for me after using it. It sounded like my head was in a swimming pool just not for me.

### 1/5 — Very disappointed

*2024-11-30, version 1.1.16*

This appears to be nothing more than a noise generator and has not improved my tinnitus the least bit it is not customized to your case at all. I think they’re betting on people not canceling before the auto renewal.

### 1/5 — Bug

*2024-10-31, version 1.1.15*

Can’t get past the safety notice because Next button is buried.
Link to support is broken.

### 1/5 — Can’t click the NEXT button to get started

*2024-09-18, version 1.1.14*

That’s it. Downloaded it and it won’t allow me to click the NEXT button to get started! The type font seems to be too large to allow the NEXT to fully appear on my screen. I have an iPhone SE.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2024-09-17, version 1.1.14*

What’s worse than a supposedly free app that hits you up for money during the initial setup? Why a follow up email begging for a good review. Of course if the review is bad then don’t post that. Email us directly so others can be irritated as well.

Needless to say I never fully installed the app and have no plans to do so. Suffering from tinnitus is bad enough. Dealing with a cash grab to exploit it is just low. No thanks.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Ear

*2026-03-25, version 1.1.32*

### 5/5 — Very helpful app

*2026-03-25, version 1.1.32*

This is very good. I wasn’t sure I downloaded this on my phone. You get seven days trial free which is ideal. You can check it out and try it as well. this is very good it’s got a lot of information on the app. It is very good. You can listen to information how to cope. being £69 is quite a lot of money for the year. I wish they’d done a monthly payment. it’s a lot of money to pay out in one go, but if you could afford it, it is worth the money.

### 5/5 — Great tool

*2026-03-09, version 1.1.31*

to overcome the inconvenience that tinnitus causes

### 5/5 — Great Start

*2026-01-21, version 1.1.28*

I’m just starting with this app. It was recommended by Treble Health as the top Tinnitus App for 2025 and that gives me confidence that it is not a scam. I am enjoying interacting with Tinnibot and have also had a video call with Dr Fabrice. I have tried other treatments before but I am feeling more confident that I’m on the right track with MindEar.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-01-14, version 1.1.28*

Really well designed, great science backed info, very customisable. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Review of Prof Laure presentation 22/04/2024

*2025-11-22, version 1.1.27*

Most tinnitus sufferers have looked at on line help fixes only to find them everything from total nonsense to just doubtful !
Mindear is a real exception
It’s science based with help from medical experts in the field!
No quick fixes but genuine advice and tools that relieve some of the stress associated with tinnitus.
The presentation from Prof Jacquemin was an interesting update of the latest medical work on tinnitus and what works.
The Mindear app is an effective tool in lifting the anxiety associated with tinnitus.
I could not recommend it more strongly.
It won’t cure you instantly but it will certainly help more that any other tool I have seen to date,

### 5/5 — A great app for tinnitus

*2025-09-26, version 1.1.27*

I have used this app for about a month. I have found its tools and meditation techniques to be very useful in dealing with my tinnitus and understanding ways of coping with it and very useful and helpful ways. Great job and thank you!

### 5/5 — MindEar

*2025-09-24, version 1.1.27*

Since being diagnosed with tinnitus I didn’t know how to handle it and make it easier on myself. The MindEar app has given me the tools and information to live with it.

### 5/5 — Good product full of information

*2025-08-26, version 1.1.26*

Been using this for about 2 months. I have tinnitus and the content within the app helps. The sound selection is good. The AI chat bot is interesting. One recommendation is to trim down the podcasts and make them more focused on user. I have noticed some of the podcasts come from lectures which is good but too long for me to watch.
