There isn’t much to this app. It’s an eBook with simple quiz scoring. It won’t keep me signed in, which means it’s not more convenient that buying a paper study guide. Disappointed.

I am working on a course now that I cannot access at all in my iPad Pro. I am using my school login and it keeps telling me it is invalid when it’s not. I am ONLY able to access MindEdge through a computer or the actual website on my iPad rather than through the app itself. This is super frustrating since I use my iPad for all my course work. Based on other reviews I have seen... this seems to be an issue for a lot of people using iOS.

The app has issues showing exponents and parenthesis in my math course. It also exposes all the answers for the quizzes at the end of the sections. The material looks incorrect because of basic formatting errors. It’s almost 2020. Why have a mobile app that basically renders the whole course useless on mobile? Do better.

The course materials still open in my browser, so what’s the point of having an app? It’s just an extra step between my school and their materials.

This app does show me my coursework from my phone. So in punch, this is useful.

However:
- The app is resolution locked to something much smaller than my screen so it wastes precious screen door.
-Answering questions sends me to a new page where the question is gone and I just have an input field. Entering an answer gives you a pop-up saying if you're right, but that pop-up is half way off the 95% blank screen.  Pressing back to get back to the questions sends you to the beginning of the page making you scroll down every question.
- Some questions just have the answer open already when you get to it, with the text for getting it wrong also showing.
- Graphics don't always load unless you download your course for offline use. It didn't give you a place holder so you don't know if the Graphics are missing until the text refers to one that's not there.
-course navigation is a mess.
- Not sure if quizzes are broken or if all of my courses don't have quizzes.

I have to use this app for a class. The navigation is clunky, scrolling pages is slow and you can’t even quick-scroll with the sidebar, and the most important part: in-lesson widgets and quiz questions when clicked will just not do anything, and once this occurs once, the other interface elements stop working so the only way to navigate onto a new page is to close and reopen the app.
Inexcusable performance.

App doesn’t load materials and crashes repeatedly. I can’t login to access the materials. It requires me to access the course in a browser first and then click on the web. It worked for my phone, but not my iPad. Fighting with this app takes more time than if I just sit and read the book myself.

I NEVER write app reviews. Normally most things I don’t like about apps are opinions not anything technically wrong with the way it was designed. This app is awful. I’m currently having to use this app for college and it’s in some major need of bug fixes and an update to it’s compatible devices list. There’s small things but I’ll note the biggest pet peeves of mine below.
-Doesn’t fit my screen.. Looks like it was made to fit an iPhone 8 and doesn’t take advantage of the screen real estate of my iPhone 13 Pro Max.
-I’ve downloaded the content numerous times so when I travel for my job I can view content in airplane mode. This doesn’t work, as it will download and then once I’m in airplane mode the content shows that it hasn’t been downloaded.
- I’m unable to view key concepts in regards to what I’m studying because the button for that doesn’t work even though it says “click here”.

This app looks like it hasn’t seen an update since 2012. It’s disappointing because if they could at the least update the compatibility list for the newer devices when they come out at least once a year it would change your experience learning school content on this app.

I’m using MindEdge for school and have been listening to the textbook, while following along on my computer. I don’t like that I can’t see the text and listen to the audio at the same time. Also, today it won’t play sound and isn’t working. Not sure why, it worked fine yesterday. Please fix. Thank you!

It is easy to get to quizzes and download for offline studying. However the scrolling is a pain because it really slow to react. If you move your finger too fast it stops. When you change pages to get to the next section it starts at the bottom of the next page and you need to use the bad scrolling to get to the top. Finally, certain sections of the pages don’t scale to the screen and you can’t move the screen over to view. It just crops the section.

So far the app has been a bit frustrating to use, the text to audio goes to a black screen and completely turns off if you go outside of the black video. It would be perfected to read along with the audio. Also the top bar jumps along the whole page especially covering the text your trying to read super annoying and hard to focus when that happens. It’s like playing peek a boo with the text your trying to read.

So this app is okay for its purpose. It has the information and let’s you navigate easily between topics.  However, it has issues loading.  If you go through the modules and topics with the “next” button, it doesn’t load the images, videos, and some symbols.  For example, the Greek letter sigma, σ, loaded up just fine, but the division symbol and percent symbols did not.  I found a workaround where if you load from the drag and drop menu at the top, almost everything seems to load.  But it would be great if they could look into those issues, since it took me a while to figure out what was missing, which made the course information a bit confusing and could cause some students to falter or have difficulties in their own studies.

Pros:
-everything fits on the screen, way better than going to the browser on the phone (pages skew)
-Games work just like on the website
-Audio is available to read text for you

Cons:
-It doesn't track progress like the website does
-Pages with a lot of images load slowly; sometimes you have to move forward and go back to load them properly
-Clicking citation links send you to the citation enlarged, but offer no back button so you literally have to close the app and find where you left off
-No pinch to zoom function, so you're stuck with the faulty citation links when viewing detailed worded images and charts
-Charts don't fit the screen so you have to scroll left to right to fully view them
-Drag to drop games are wonky if there is a lot of wording to be dragged and dropped

I am constantly using my iPad for school.  This app works great for reading, but when it comes to quizzes, there’s no “Begin” button.  On review questions, the answers are already displayed before I can even attempt them.  Great app for reading, but that’s about it.  Hopefully they push an update soon to correct this issue.

I have to go back to course home every time I click next. When I click next any graph graph or picture content to support the course is not there. Once I go back to course home and then click on that particular piece it is there. I have to do this every time.
