Has good potential!
I love this idea. And it totally works right now, but it is a little buggy.
Perfect!!!!!
More rich text options and this app will be perfect. I journal more simple because of how uncomplicated it is. It syncs fast, doesn’t randomly crash, it just works.
A delight to use
I hesitated between 4 or 5 stars (given that the app is still in development and the developer is in contact with me on upcoming improvements). Since I use Minders every day, I went ahead with 5 stars. It is a joy to explore the posts I've made, photos I've snapped, and the links I've saved. I love the UI/UX of the app - it is painless to find quick notes that were posted just yesterday or 1 month ago. The shuffle feature to see random posts is something that gives me 'surprise' so I'm a big fan of that. Minders has given me a private space in both iOS and Mac for my thoughts, quotes, ideas - all easily organized by tags. Thank you Allen Ussher! I look forward to seeing new things added without compromising the simplicity of Minders.

Collecting Memories
I’m glad I found Minders. I spent a couple years making daily posts to Facebook, Instagram etc. but unless you filter and struggle it’s hard to look back on what’s been done. Posts consist of 2 to 3 photos, some original text and maybe a YouTube link to a related song.
After 4 months of use, my daily routine is checking Facebook memories to quickly copy text, photos and links into a new Minders post. I can easily edit the date in Minders to match the original post date.
I’m enjoying slowly “recollecting” the memories each day, but also being able to scroll through the years in Minders when I want. I just used that feature to help me track down photos for the family calendar I made for 2025. By keeping the date structure intact I can then quickly jump into Apple Photos to snag the original hi-res picture for the print project.
I could do something similar just using Apple Notes, but Minders gives me the familiar “social media” feel and look without the struggle when reminiscing.

My favorite capture app.
I’m always searching for the best place to put things I want to save and connect but not necessarily process as in a PKM app. I like the idea of a social feed ui. It makes sense and is intuitively obvious.
