## What is MindForge AI?

Train the cognitive skills you'd rather not lose to AI dependency.

MindForge is a brain training app built around four games. Each one is modeled on cognitive science research with a real evidence base for the skill it targets.

WORKING MEMORY — Dual N-Back, the task from Jaeggi et al. 2008.

SEQUENTIAL MEMORY — Pattern Memory, modeled on the Corsi block-tapping task.

ASSOCIATIVE MEMORY — Memory Palace, a CANTAB Paired Associate Learning protocol.

LONG-TERM RETENTION — Active Recall, the testing effect from Roediger and Karpicke 2006. Includes a 24-hour retention retest because the testing effect lives in the delay.

A few minutes a day. Adaptive difficulty so the games get harder as you improve. Daily challenges keep you on a streak. 30+ achievements and hero metrics for each game.

PRIVACY

Anonymous product events only (named events like "session completed"). No personal identifiers, no autocapture, no session recording, no IP-linked profiles. Your game scores, streaks, and progress live only on your device.

Free, no accounts required, no ads, no in-app purchases.

Built by two friends who noticed their own working memory getting worse the more they used AI tools. The research backed up the feeling, so we built the app we wanted to use.
