I recommend all Xelstrym users to check it out, and all ADHD patients to try the medication and the app. One point for improvement: make the onboarding shorter. Probably a regulation thing that they have to ask all those questions. ### 3/5 — OK, but could use some help. *2025-01-14* Did y’all test this app out with any ADHDers? Or know anything at all about the Healthcare System in the U.S.??? I downloaded this app to prepare to talk to, not only talk to my provider about switching, but to also see if my insurance covers it, because, PBM’s. Setting up this app is a VERY tedious process. (Pro tip: listen to the video at 2x speed). After the video, the app asks a ton of questions I didn’t want to skip through b/c I really do hope to use it. The questions we’re getting to be a bit much for an ADHDer who doesn’t even have the product yet. A “set up later” option might have been helpful. At the end it of all these questions, it gets to the part about the savings card. I fill out my info. It asks if I want to print it out, or add to wallet. I actually want to do both, because I’m not even sure I’ll be able to use the only pharmacy that I can get the $25/mth deal from (it’s 20 miles away). I stupidly hit “add to wallet”, now I can’t get back to printing the paper copy. I think it’s gone completely (rolls eyes). After the coupon section was over, the app rolled me right into assuming I’m putting the patch on today. I don’t even have the script yet! I wish I did, but the PBM’s, and mental health professionals, make it super hard to switch regulated medications. I am literally starting from square 1 with a new psych organization, even though I have a full neuropsych eval with an ADHD diagnosis and I’ve been on an oral med since 2017. All this silliness is due to a food allergy, and pharmaceutical companies not having to disclose Top 9 allergens in their fillers. Insanity. Please, someone make this app ADHD friendlier.
