## What is mindLightz?

The mindLightz AVS App (previously named iLightz) is the most advanced and user friendly platform for transforming your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch into a state of the art "light and sound" machine. 

This free App is, by itself, a Deluxe "Audio Mixer" allowing the user to combine and individually adjust the volume levels of our precisely produced binaural sounds or isochronic tones with any of 25 built-in ambient sound effects "mixed" with any audio file in your library. These capabilities alone make this App one of the very best and most versatile binaural sound generator Apps available today.

With the purchase of our separately available mindLightz™ Bluetooth Glasses, users can experience the Planet's first completely wireless "Audio-Visual Stimulation" (AVS) system. By utilizing the power of Apple’s iOS, we have been able to simplify the user interface while delivering exciting new features and producing the most advanced and sophisticated AVS system available today.  

The mindLightz™ App includes 84 unique preset programs designed to help users achieve different brain-states. Additionally our "manual" mode allows you to easily create your own custom settings.

Finally, we would like to ask all our users to please contact us first before leaving any negative reviews. Leaving a one star rating with a review only stating "App does not work" provides us no meaningful feedback or any way to investigate what maybe wrong.

As we add new features and capabilities to our App and as Apple continues to update iOS and expand the number of devices, there is always the possibility of some problems or issues arising with our App and hardware. This, in fact, happened to a recent update which was approved just as Apple released iOS 8.3. Unfortunately, our update, which had been thoroughly tested, turn out not to "play" well with iOS 8.3. We immediately began working on a fix and had it released to the App Store within 1 week. Unfortunately, that was not fast enough as some users had already re-rated and re-reviewed our App negatively without ever contacting us.

So, if you find a bug, or are having problems with our optional hardware, PLEASE contact us FIRST as we take ALL problems very seriously and will do whatever necessary to make things right, especially if it involves our iLightz II or mindLightz™ AVS hardware.

I’ve installed the app on an iPad Air 3rd generation, iOS 16.7, and it just doesn’t see any of my music. That’s sort of a fatal flaw. Also the instructions are a little vague, or maybe just dated? They mention connecting to an iPod. Do they even still have those?

I’ve been using light and sound devices since the late 1980s when they were offered by an alternative healing center in NYC. I was a college student at the time with a crazy work and school schedule. From the moment the attendant turned on the machine I was hooked. My settings were for study focus with beach waves as background sound with binaural beats and G note pitch for 30 minutes. That session not only soothed my agitated nerves but I left feeling like I’d actually been on a stress-free vacation. Over the years and as the technology became more available to the public, I studied the science of brainwave manipulation and bought devices to use at home. Then came MindLightz and I am so happy for its ease of use, personal programming and performance. I use it to help keep me ‘tuned up’, especially during this period of COVID insecurity. I use this along with professional psychological counseling, medications and journaling to manage my mindset and depression. Do the research on brainwave science and learn how programs like this may improve your overall quality of life.

I love this app, as it’s the only thing that works with my Deepak DreamWeaver. I wish they would update it more regularly, and I’m very scared it will disappear one day. Not sure there is another app out there compatible with these glasses. Please keep supporting this app! I use it regularly for mediation!!

Between the time of my initial purchase of the goggles and finding this updated app (with new name and control panel) I made many purchases of program which were contained or stored in the previous app’s inner-working, 
what has happened to those purchases? Will they be available in the new app?
If not, am I just out of luck to use those previous programs and lose the money I invested for these purposes?
Additionally, my previous registration and email sign-up did not give me any indication that the app had changed or that other entities became the lead source for information. I only found this out when I went to Deepak Chopra dreamweaver.com and found the information they’re not the best model but at least I have no access to using the goggles once again. Thank you

The device is also amazing, it’s very well built and the experience it gives is very literally out of this world.
