### 3/5 — Not nearly as good as iThoughts, but it works

I used oThoughts for years and it went away. I wanted a mind map,that I could pay a one-time fee and MindLine was it—$22.95 I believe for a ‘forever’ version. I don’t want to pay $10 to $15 per month to use a mind mapping tool. 

This is not nearly as good as iThoughts, as the review title says, but it works. It isn’t easy to figure out, but I can get there eventually. 

The user interface confuses me, I try to edit the text box on a node, the next thing I know there’s a new node I unintentionally added. I have to exit the node, double-tap on the blank area, and hit the undo arrow. That is cumbersome.

That’s not to bash the developer, if this is the best I can get for a one-time fee, I’m grateful. But I wish cut and paste options were there..

It is my favorite minemap that I have used. Has gotten a bit clunky when I had a larger project I was working on but different devices handle it better.

Everything is perfect, very easy and simple to work with and gets the job done.

But the reason for my 4 stars is that some restrictions on the free plan. E.g. can’t import a file etc… (bummer)🥲

Cannot create a nw item in portrait mode. The ➕button on top right doesn't apper on iPad. It only appears in landscape mode. And missing language options. Rest this is an amazing app.

As someone with ADHD, I’d be lost without this app. It helps me think. I use it to make mind-maps of all the swirling thoughts in mind and then organise it, declutter it, or break down tasks into smaller ones, or use it to take notes while studying/reading etc. Truly myriad uses. The interface is also super intuitive and neat - simple, straightforward, useful. 

The final touch that makes it perfect is the old school one-time purchase option like in the good old days. No need to be bothered by greedy monthly subscriptions!

Absolutely no engagement from the developer, so I’m no longer going to buy the full upgrade. A shame, because this app has huge potential. But customers need to know that a human being is there to support them. 

Hey, Developer! Do you read your reviews? Do you care that I left you a ‘Gold rated’ review? Hmmm.. I didn’t buy the full app yet, & I’m now wondering whether to bother!! Wow! This is streets ahead of most of the Big Names! For real! What other Mind Map Apps are using AI like this? What other big names can compete with this? This is my NUMBER ONE MIND MAP APP period! To the developer: next pay day, buying the app! You guys are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way! I don’t know if you use some ancient magic. But, keep up this amazing app ‘ develop it too. I’m really not a big reviewer here on  App Store But, this level of excellence deserves big noise! You have a fan forever, now & I’ll tell people, too NO1. Mind Map App on the App Store. It’s affordable, too. No greedy people, here. Thank you, my new friends, have a great year. ORIGINAL: I note another has mentioned they had a cloud issue, I feel the developer must have sorted this out because it’s working well. This is far more useable than, say, mindnode. Yes, mn has far more frillies and pretties, but this has the core functions including; a simple to use OUTLINE, that other apps rob you to provide, if at all. The IAP is about £20.00, at the moment, I think it’s reasonable, but, as a free app, it’s still VERY functional, so you can get an idea if ‘it’s the one for you’!

Obviously ratings written by folks could be bots, could be from whoever for whatever reasons.   As I have often noticed that unfortunately lots of apps that have lots of five star rating doesn’t match the reality for those who write critical ratings!   So many apps seem to have become money grabbers which probably follows the market scene.  However for me MindLine has become my favorite mindmap app as I continue to kick the tires of others over time.   I also enjoy using Mindly but MindLine definitely is my most used mindmap.

I had enjoyed using the app very much and paid for the pro version a couple of months ago. However, the app upgraded itself recently and reminded me to upgrade to their pro version by subscription, otherwise the app is reset to basic version and my previous work is gone. 
I feel I have paid for the pro version once already and shouldn’t be forced to upgrade to its ‘new’ pro version with their cloud service. The company needs to build up its credit if they want to win trust in customers.

I was really excited to use this app, given the reviews. However, was disappointed upon opening the app and realizing that there is no way to use my Apple Pencil.  I’ll need to try a different mind mapping app, unfortunately.
