First, make dark mode. It just feels kind of essential to have a dark mode nowadays, and second, add a zoom out button that takes you out of what ever little orbit your in back to the very front. Not the mind map that shows all the planets, but one that takes you back to the original, so you don’t have to keep tapping and tapping to get back home. I love the idea as an app, hopefully these changes will be easy to make. P.S. would love to see the interface get cleaner as well as time goes on. Similar features but you can only make a few mind maps. Once you fork out a couple bucks for the paid version, you can creat unlimited mind maps and truly unlock your brain. Now, I’m not saying this app will make you rich or successful, but it sure helps a lot if you need to map out your mind. Got a lot on the brain? Make a mind map. Have a complex assignment or business plan? Make a mind map. Great for all of that, making outlines, and just generally organizing your life. And the more you do it, the quicker you get and the better this app can work for you. Highly recommend! ### 3/5 — Nice but limited *2024-06-02, version 1.39* I have the free version of this app. It seems to allow any number of maps but each map has a limited number of nodes. I’m not sure how many because there is no count or indicator but there is a progress bar. I estimate maybe 50 nodes per map on the free version. I don’t think there are any ads, which is great. The visual interface is clean and pleasing, with a variety of muted and bright colors to assign the nodes. I like this circular way of displaying nodes and edges, especially on smaller screens, well done. Navigating the map is also very satisfying. Other apps sticking to the class tree/web don’t appeal to me at all. The vertical tree/bullet point style of some apps is nice but doesn’t have the same appeal as a more freeform structure. The app covers a minimal set of simple functionalities: add/remove/copy/move node, view parent/child, change color of node, change size of font, even rotate nodes. It does not, however, allow you to link a node to more than one other node, which is disappointing. I can’t seem to delete a map either. It will probably cover 70% of use cases, which is why I rated it 3 stars (pretty good). For 4 stars (great), I would expect: 1. Ability to define more edges between nodes 2. Ability to resize individual nodes 3. Text formatting like bold, italic, underline, strikethrough 4. Ability to move a cluster of nodes to another place on the canvas (right now you can only move a node to another group of nodes, i.e., assign that node a new parent) 5. Pinch to zoom when viewing individual nodes 6. Ability to organize maps into folders For 5 stars (excellent): 1. Embedded checkbox feature that allows nodes to be treated as tasks (does NOT require calendar integration because good lord not everything needs to do everything) 2. Markdown formatting for notes 3. More color palettes 4. Option to assign a short name so text doesn’t get cut off in small nodes Based on the version history, this app is not updated very often. Maybe it’s a pet project. If it is, it is a really great one. As a product, there are several ways it could be improved, and I really hope the dev provides them eventually!! Thanks for creating such a nice and affordable tool!! ### 3/5 — Good solid mind mapping app *2024-05-17, version 1.39* Nice and easy to use app, though some actions would be better done in fewer clicks. The biggest missing feature is the ability to link multiple nodes together to create a more representative mind map. Syncs well with iCloud. Nothing business, just solely for my own improvement, understand, and enjoyment. It helps me wrap my head around things. THIS APP *shriek* this app makes it so EASY. And not just easy but also BEAUTIFUL to look at and well suited for sharing or printing. I used the free version (which was fantastic for a free version of such an app - I did try out other mind mapping apps before this one), and as I was mapping out a few ideas, I reached the limit of what the free version would allow me and I….I just spent the little money to get the full version. I couldn’t help it. It was TOO GOOD! And it’s just a ONE TIME PURCHASE?!? I am so appreciative of that. This apps existence is a wonderful addition to my life. I understand not all can or want to spend money on an app, and that’s totally okay. I’m actually with you there 99.9% of the time. But if mind mapping and connecting ideas on paper is something you enjoy or do for professional settings, this app is very good at doing that well without over complicating things. Don’t buy the full version on account of me, but at least try it, ya know? ### 5/5 — I Got Certified! *2025-03-07, version 1.39* This functional, easy to use program helped me organize all terminology under the 7 principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and it helped me pass my RBA certification exam! It’s a great app and very impressive map when you finish adding all your content. ### 5/5 — It needs a few things here and there, but solid overall *2025-02-25* -I wish there was a way to add checklists into the mix. Like on the text area for each bubble I can select a checklist option to check actions in the bubble off (like in microsoft tasks or one note) and maybe even have an option for the bubble to change color as I’ve completed the checklist in the bubble. -I really hope they add windows/pc support as well, as this app could be really useful on my computer. Also one note compatibility would be sick. Other than it being a bit clunky looking/feeling, this is a pretty straight forward and solid mind/bubble map app overall. I’m also glad that their pricing model is only 6/7 bucks up front, rather than yearly or monthly like all other apps. It takes seconds to get thought into a visual format and in my opinion the lack of unnecessary features really makes this app stand out. Once I’ve hashed out an idea to a point I can communicate it effectively I export as a PDF and feed into AI for further analysis where I can start to assign attributes like measurables and other systems.
