Choose your own adventure for learning, listening, and some interactive functionality also. The free trial is a week long with 60m a day The bad: No way to relisten or read transcripts Customer Service doesn’t respond… The tutor changes when you hit a new level, and you don’t get to pick. You can’t change your tutor at any point. A new level loses all memory of previous level(s). After reaching out to customer service multiple times and not receiving a response my review went from 4 stars to 1… at this price I expected decent customer service. ### 1/5 — Very bad user interface *2026-05-30* The text are not readable and accessible for everyone. And the content is al ChatGPT, nothing new or creative here ### 1/5 — What happened? *2026-04-28* The app used to be very interactive and ask you questions part by part. Now, the text is in long paragraphs and makes it hard to read. I will be deleting the app until this is fixed and will try to find an alternative. Very unfortunate. This app is a perfect example of, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” ### 2/5 — Pausing *2026-02-07* I can’t get through ONE lesson without it pausing itself and rewinding. It’s happening on different quizzes and different questions but not all. **Developer response:** Thanks for flagging this. We're aware of the quiz screen flickering and a fix is already on its way. It should land in our next update within the next 48 hours or so. We'll follow up here once it's live. Appreciate your patience! Update: We fixed this in the latest version. Drop us a line at support@mindmax.it if encounter any more issues. ### 3/5 — Good not great *2026-06-20* Good: Several side-kick or Wingman/woman to choose from. A ton of Tutors (some historical and some fictional) to choose from (tho the descriptions are pretty bad, you’ll have to google any you don’t know). I was hoping for Carl Yung, and a few “Woo Woo” options like Neville Goddard or Florence Shinn. The free trial is a week long with 60m a day The bad: There’s no transcripts, I saw it somewhere but then it disappeared. Once a lesson or chat is at the end it’s kinda deleted. You can’t re-listen to it. Once I complete a Level 1 it auto moves to Level 2, removing all access to Level 1 minus basic quizzes. Level 2 had a different tutor and no access - or the new tutor?- to Level 1 conversations. So it’s kinda starting over… You can’t change your tutor, you’ll have to archive that topic/path and start over. So take notes as you go, don’t let it play to the end unless you feel complete with that lesson, and don’t expect to control which tutor you have access to. ### 4/5 — Pretty Incredible *2025-11-19* With all these micro learning applications out there, it’s hard to differentiate one from the other. Not with this app. MindMax is unique. The option to create your own content is pretty incredible and conversing with the Teacher throughout the lesson is an amazing touch. You can ask questions and based on the questions, the content changes in real time to provide you with a solution. It’s been a really valuable experience overall. However, there’s a major issue that keeps happening and it’s affecting usability. When trying to progress to the next level, the app gets stuck on the “Level Completed” screen. It freezes and doesn’t allow navigation forward or to other levels. At that point, the app becomes unresponsive and you’re essentially blocked from continuing. This isn’t a one-time glitch — it’s happening consistently, which makes it difficult to keep using the app despite how good it is. If this bug gets fixed, the experience would be significantly better. Right now, it’s the only thing holding the app back.
