Bottom line… if you want to tinker with building mind maps from scratch, this might be a good free option. It’s a poor option for anyone that wants to utilize mind mapping in a productivity routine. If you are the latter, there are better options… numerous. 

No templates, overly simplistic and limiting UI/UX, no integrations or automations, app hasn’t been updated in over a year as of Oct 2024, and so on. 

I like supporting indie devs, but for many it’s a hobby or side hustle, usually results in limited ongoing development (improvements, bug fixes, Mac/iOS updates, etc.), often leading to app abandonment. MindThread appears to fit into this category.

I tried many apps for mind mapping but none of them has been so easy and quick to use.
In a matter of seconds I was creating and exporting my first map!
Very well designed and integrated into iOS.

Highly recommended and well done to the developers!
