Very well organized UI and… Can you actually be a connoisseur of drones / noise? 😆 Cuz I feel like there’s a really perfect noise / frequency blend that will effectively ground me at any given moment… Yet it varies widely throughout the day. This app lets me dial ‘em in with precision, and even save for future use! LOVE IT! Constructive criticisms: (1) I’d love a lifetime access option. Paying indefinitely for to noise and drones won’t be sustainable, tbh (2) I’ve noticed a couple of the recordings have a very distracting little “click” in them that repeats (presumably at their loop point) (3) There are quite a few hokey sounds (mainly in the “home” and “life” categories) that remind me of the amateur recordings on those “5000 Sound Effects” CDs from the 90s… I just don’t use ‘em, so they don’t actually ruin the experience. However, I do have to wonder who they’re actually for, and why they’d include such unnatural-sounding stuff into an otherwise high-quality app. (4) I wish saved mixes could be selected and modified without overwriting the original. ### 4/5 — Wunderbar *2025-08-07* Tolle Sounds, die bei Bedarf sehr individuell zusammengestellt werden können. I wasn’t expecting to be so impressed, but I just am. Not that I expected it to be bad by any means, I just assumed it’d be another app that I file under “that’s neat” and never use again. But here I am, using it quite a bit and genuinely enjoying it. The ability to mix your own soundscapes is really nice, and the selection of available sounds is solid. I’d love to see a “footsteps in leaves” sound added - that’s the only thing I’ve thus far found myself looking for - but other than that, it’s got everything I looked for. I’ve set up four super relaxing soundscapes of my own and find that I look forward to listening to them. Nice job, devs! ### 5/5 — This has replaced all others and became my only go-to ambience sound app. *2025-04-24* I am impressed by the soothing colors and the thoughtful UI. It’s easy to mix and match various sound tracks to become my own mix. I didn’t need to though, the defaults were really good. Love the ocean waves and the meditative hum. Whereas other apps then to stick to one or a few sound types, or premix some grand tracks for you, it all wants to get you into a calm and focused state of mind. But this app gets me there in seconds. I could focus right away. Anyway, when one download the app one cannot do anything without first answering many private questions before use it. Each time I opened the app I had to answer about my sleep, gander, age etc. After that eventually you get to the point of using it. Once I closed the app and reopened I had to no choice but go through all the questions again. So deleted after all. Overall looks very nice and promising.
