I have to research how to do everything and the building system is just not smooth. I wouldnt even mash this on a tablet, its clunky. ### 4/5 — a fairly simple factory game *2026-07-31, version 8.159.7* A conveyor belt sim and an RTS is a cool concept. however it never gets complicated like the other conveyor belt sims, as there are hardly any intermediate items. In my opinion they mess up the tech tree, by letting you use resources from previous missions, to unlock things, so once you started a mission instead of having to think if you want to dedicate resources to unlock that new building or setting up defenses you just click all the unlocks you can. The longer campaign is mostly tower defense, and mod support isn’t great, but despite that it’s still pretty fun and 100% worth the 2 bones ### 4/5 — В целом нормально *2026-06-18, version 8.158.1* В целом интересно, достаточно разветвленное дерево технологий и интересные логистические задачи ставит игра. I’ve always played this game with my brother but his android app got an update. Since then we can no longer play together and apple hasn’t released the update yet. But amazing game definitely worth it ### 2/5 — kind of annoying to use *2026-02-19, version 7.146.0* I reinstalled this game to give it another chance and immediately remembered why I left. Fix the controls or at least make them more clear on what to do. I got softlocked on a level because the drone you play as randomly dissapeared and I couldn't do anything. Also, trying to repair previously destroyed buildings is really annoying because it move it off grid where you originally had it which makes your whole base overlap and it is really devestating for gameplay. Losing once is also extremely brutal, you have to go to your previous base and wait for resources to try again. Who's idea of fun is that? Just let us retry the level, why does it have to be so complicated? The text is too small to read and making it bigger means zooming and scrolling back and forth and trying to figure out what it wants me to do next. And it’s not like it’s hard to tap on a skill/tech to research, it just takes a ridiculous amount of time and effort to see the sentence telling you to do so. ### 1/5 — Some basic instructions would be helpful. *2026-07-12, version 8.159.3* At the moment it seems like another game that promises so much but can't organise it in any way. The wiki page offers me the source code before it tells me h what the purpose of the game is! Check multiplayer? Check mods? Check Decent community? Check what else I can ask for? Not getting nuked I guess but I went in a super hard sector anyway so it is my fault. A great game nevertheless. Will recommend. Worth every penny, I might give it a one star because it charge to less, no in game micro transactions no ads just pure bliss chaotic at times gameplay. Other people have done a better job explaining why it’s good so I won’t repeat them here, but all you need to know is that it’s FREE, yes FREE on GitHub, Itch.io, and Android, which simply goes to show that this is a passion project and Anuke (the developer of the game) does not care at all about making money. In other words, buy this game to give money to Anuke, so that he can work on MINDUSTRY, so that more people give money to him. I honestly get lost in time because the game is so immersing. Controls are fine, placing is fine, and even figuring out enemy strategies is easy. I don’t know what people are talking about the game not working on mobile, mine is perfectly fine.
