### 1/5 — Useless and going under

*2026-05-07, version 7.8.3*

They have frozen all cards because of some issue that they will not explain. This is after they changed the spend limits that gives customers less control over their budget.

### 1/5 — Card frozen

*2026-05-06, version 7.8.3*

This is ridiculous. How has this not been fixed yet?

### 1/5 — Zero Communication

*2026-05-06, version 7.8.3*

The card has been down since Friday with no updates in five days. App only shows “Your Mine card is frozen due to an issue with our card program that is affecting all cardholders. We'll have an update soon.” Any attempt to chat with a representative to see if there are updates results it getting no information or timeline for when the card will actually be back up.

I liked the card before the rebrand but after forcing the MoneyGPT and the new subscription requirement for any account not grandfathered in, I’ll be closing the account.

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2026-05-06, version 7.8.3*

There has now been an ongoing issue with their cardholders for almost a week. Nobody has been able to use the cards. There seems to be no urgency whatsoever to get this fixed, which is insanity. Especially for users paying a monthly fee to use their product.

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money

*2026-05-06, version 7.8.3*

Card stayed frozen because of a system failure on their end so you can’t even use the product they’re charging you for.

### 1/5 — AVOID

*2026-05-06, version 7.8.3*

Service is suspended and has been for days with no actual communication.

### 1/5 — Not recommended

*2026-05-06, version 7.8.3*

It was a very useful and very good card before turned into mine. Now a lot of problems. I’ve beee waiting more than a week because the entire system it’s shutdown and the card is frozen. Yes that’s is happening in may 2026. With no solution.

### 1/5 — ALL CARDS FROZEN

*2026-05-05, version 7.8.2*

Mine/Fizz has been an okay service since I’ve had them. You can’t actually build your credit unless you already have a credit card. If you have no credit history they will NEVER be able to pull a report for you. I mostly liked the card for emergency spending/budgeting. Since the beginning of May my card has been frozen. There’s a notice at the top of the app that says- “Your mine card is frozen due to an issue with our card program that is affecting all card holders. We’ll have an update soon.”
This freeze is apparently “not due to security risks” which they stated in a follow up email. Honestly, it’s all just a big disappointment. How can it not be a security risk if all cards are frozen? I hate that they have no idea when this issue will be resolved. Definitely time to move on to a new app.

### 1/5 — getting annoyed

*2026-05-04, version 7.8.2*

the app and brand aside, the constant forced updates are getting really annoying. I would like to just open the app and use it and look at something. the number of times I have to update it is getting to be too much and there's no desktop version I can just look at the dashboard real quick

### 2/5 — fizz was good… Mine isn’t what I wanted

*2026-05-02, version 7.8.2*

I’ve had a fizz card since their first edition and I used to really like this app and company; it had so many benefits and was a great system, but when Mine was introduced they have changed so much. I used to get 3x points on purchases of my choosing and there were so many deals and information you could see. Now everything is locked up and they changed the spending allowance without a reason, for me and for other people in other reviews. I’m going to keep using it until I find another replacement because I don’t have to pay the subscription, but if you do I would recommend canceling. So sad to see a good company turn sour.

### 4/5 — Reliable App

*2026-04-27, version 7.8.1*

Not a bad app if you want to have a credit card report. Don’t like that it charges you weekly and doesn’t offer payment options

### 1/5 — DO NOT USE

*2026-04-26, version 7.8.0*

This app will ruin your credit. Customer support is literally useless. This app is horrible and sincerely useless. Please do not use this app.

### 1/5 — Fizz good, Mine bad.

*2026-04-24, version 7.8.0*

I've been a Fizz member since the first edition. Could not have been happier with the service Fizz was providing. Metrics enabled me to track habits, and spending was under control. With Mine, things have gone down the drain. This is not the company I signed up for. I am happy to close my account and bank with their competitor. So long.

### 1/5 — Lacks any kind of transparency at this point

*2026-04-23, version 7.8.0*

my last review was 5 stars - that was from early on when the company still went by fizz, and before they changed to a subscription-only service.

my account was grandfathered in, so i don't have to pay a fee to continue to use my card. that's good, since i signed up for a free service. but last night i received an email vaguely alluding to "usage patterns" that dropped my spend limit to $300, when i regularly use my card for a variety of expenses and do so responsibly and always have funds to cover. contacting chat support has resulted in an attempt at reassurance that took two levels of AI chatbot just to get sent to a real person - the reassurance being that the usage patterns are nothing that *i* did, but just due to changes to their program that were completely unannounced.

any company that drastically decreases your spending ability, credit card or otherwise, when you have done absolutely nothing to warrant it as a customer, and does so without any kind of transparency or explanation, is not a company worth supporting. mine is just another company in a long line of companies that started out great and gave into ensh*ttification.

### 1/5 — Mine ruined fizz

*2026-04-23, version 7.8.0*

When I had fizz it was great, amazing benefits that outweighed the cost of the membership, points back, credit limit based on your $$ in your checking. Mine took over and it took months to get a new card, they took away weekly rewards such as free Panera. And recently they changed the credit limit and now it’s based on credit history? As if I haven’t had a perfect credit score with them for a year and half and now they can’t trust me?? This new management is horrible and has ruined the app. Come October when my subscription is up they will no longer have me as a user

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-06-12, version 7.8.5*

I went to sign up and gave all of my info only to be told in the app I am being waitlisted. I then did some research and apparently they aren’t doing their card program anymore. If you are going to advertise your services maybe have services for people to use and don’t just keep your app up with broken promises.

### 1/5 — Worst company

*2026-05-20, version 7.8.5*

If I never had this card my credit score would be higher than it is today since for some reason it’s a good idea to just shut everyone’s accounts down without prior warning when some people used it as the only credit source they had meaning you dropped credit scores and actively harmed many people through your actions. Also how do you say if you have a remaining balance it’s our job to pay it and not let people have access to see if they even have a balance on the site, absolutely disgusting company.

### 1/5 — Unprofessional

*2026-05-13, version 7.8.4*

Froze everyone’s cards and is now closing. This was a waste of my time and I should’ve never used Fizz (mine) to begin with. What a scam

### 1/5 — Great idea, too bad it’s a scam

*2026-05-11, version 7.8.4*

I loved the concept so much I was willing to pay for a year but the shut down the app a few months later without next step options for all of the people who paid for this service.

### 1/5 — Steals your money

*2026-05-10, version 7.8.4*

They took the money and ran

### 1/5 — Scan

*2026-05-09, version 7.8.4*

I got this a couple of months ago and now I'm told there closing the program an won't refund me my subscription that I paid for. Then send me to a different bapp to use. I don't think so. I'm not doing that again.

### 1/5 — company is closing down

*2026-05-09, version 7.8.4*

updating my review to add that, after what they did below, they proceeded to freeze all cards without any explanation to their users which continued indefinitely until an email was sent out notifying users that mine is closing completely.

stupidest, most outrageous way to handle their need to close their company. i'd encourage anyone considering transitioning to the company they're "partnering" with to skip that and just get a secured credit card if you can handle the upfront deposit they require. also keep in mind that cards like these inflate credit scores other than your FICO score - the one actually getting pulled. if you have anything major on your credit report, check your FICO score for free - it'll be a good hundred points below whatever a company like credit karma shows you.

my last review was 5 stars - that was from early on when the company still went by fizz, and before they changed to a subscription-only service.

my account was grandfathered in, so i don't have to pay a fee to continue to use my card. that's good, since i signed up for a free service. but last night i received an email vaguely alluding to "usage patterns" that dropped my spend limit to $300, when i regularly use my card for a variety of expenses and do so responsibly and always have funds to cover. contacting chat support has resulted in an attempt at reassurance that took two levels of AI chatbot just to get sent to a real person - the reassurance being that the usage patterns are nothing that *i* did, but just due to changes to their program that were completely unannounced.

### 1/5 — All Cards Closed With No Warning

*2026-05-08, version 7.8.4*

Absolutely useless. Closed all credit accounts with no warning causing a huge hit on my credit score. I cannot believe that this happened after only 4 years of holding the card and paying it on time every single time. Completely unacceptable way to treat users. On top of that, I cannot cash out my remaining rewards and the only consolation offered is 6 MONTHS of another, much more expensive card. No ability to contact support, no warning, hugely impacted my credit negatively. All the advice on the app is useless and the only thing to come from it at the end was bad credit. Do not use this scam.

### 1/5 — Mine Card doesn't exist

*2026-05-08, version 7.8.4*

Don't download this app expecting the Mine card because they shut it down a few days ago. Honestly annoying that they're keeping the app, because now it's just another useless budget advice app taking up storage.

### 1/5 — Update on

*2026-05-07, version 7.8.3*

This company stole $5.32 from me I can’t imagine others who trusted this company and may have their paychecks sitting in the account now voluntarily closed by Mine for a buyout profit from an even sharper company STEP.
When I gained my VA disability with a back pay of $16k someone at STEP tried to steal that money by diverting the deposit into their own account. Luckily the VA put a stop payment on that deposit and I was able to open up SoFi which is reliable. STEP acted as if they were ignorant to the situation and wasn’t any help at all. All Mine had to do was stop placing daily freezes on accounts which is abnormal of how our US credit system works (monthly). They could have still offered low lines of credit $100-$500 depending on credit factors to provide a reliable credit building company. What a waste of potential due to poor decision makers.

The concept shouldn’t be a daily one. Everyone understands how credit works this has nothing to do with actually fixing credit. And every time that I pay my balance you people freeze my card. Stop doing that

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — All good things come to an end

*2026-05-08, version 7.8.4*

Unfortunately the Mine (Fizz) card has came to an end May 7th, 2026. After a full week shutdown on cards they issued an update to all emails. Reasoning behind the closure is since it was a startup fintech company, they didn’t have capital backing them so they couldn’t earn enough profits to maintain their services. I was lucky to be able to have this card for 8 months, and it has been very amazing for me. Sad to see you guys go, but completely understandable as well. Hopefully in the future you guys may come back with the backing necessary. Goodbye Mine (Fizz)

### 5/5 — Bankruptcy

*2026-04-29, version 7.8.1*

This card has helped me start over in the best way! I filled for bankruptcy after a separation and had a hard time finding a card I could get approved for. I’ve used this card responsibly and in only a few months my credit score has jumped up almost 100 points!!!

### 5/5 — rosa

### 5/5 — Actually works

*2026-04-21, version 7.8.0*

I started with a credit score of 600. I’ve already increased it to 650 in just a month this actually works.

### 5/5 — Good

*2026-04-20, version 7.7.9*

Good

### 5/5 — Good app

*2026-04-17, version 7.7.9*

I’ve been happy with this. I’m not really a credit card person because I overspend but the facts that I cannot spend more than what is in my account and it automatically pays it off every day make this perfect for me. My aspiration with other cards is always to pay off every transaction right away but having to do it manually never really worked for me. The Mine card doing it for me has been great. There can be a delay between your bank account balance updating and the Mine card seeing the updated balance so that can make it a little finicky if you are trying to maximize your points. But it’s never been more than a day for it to update. Overall good.

### 5/5 — Credit increases

*2026-04-15, version 7.7.9*
