Definitely a grind. I think you need to make it cheaper to buy bank slots seeing as you hardly have enough room to store all the ores/ bars you get in the first biome. Not to mention weapons, casino chips , and all other materials. I’ve spent 20,000 coins and only have 8 more slots that are quickly filled up. The beta mode hasn’t worked for me at all, and I think the home base needs to be more upgradable. I love this game but i haven’t been able to actually play much. Sure, there's a revive option, but that's barely helpful since you don't get your ammo back or some bonus to fend yourself against the horde of enemies that caused your death to begin with. Not to mention, also, even if you want or need to leave a stage, you can't keep the stuff you gathered. Instead, you still lose it all. So instead of gathering a few things you're probably missing and then heading out, or if you want to play it safe and head out, the game still punishes you for it. One complaint is that the second boss has a laser attack that I am pretty sure is almost impossible to avoid. The opponents can be tough to kill and very fast. Possibly too fast. The game can get repetitive once your a few hours in. Revives should be added to the store in the store area. I don't believe you should lose all of your inventory when you die. It can be a big commitment to starts a new level or a challenge level. Play for 15-20 mins and die at the end with nothing to show for it. Frustrating and will lose players over that. I have paid the $6 for no ads. Not sure if its worth it we will see. Pets need to do something. Love the base upgrades. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — 😡 *2024-09-01, version 1.16.4* I can’t play the stupid game it keeps kicking me out! ### 1/5 — Very very hard game *2023-05-15, version 1.12.237* the game is impossibly hard for no reason at all. first, you get a gun, but it takes 3 shots to kill anything and misses a lot. monsters also do insane amounts of damage. you only get 2 lives and even then it forces you to watch an add for the 2nd life. you cant leave early if you get hurt or go back up a ladder at all which makes zero sense. so you are forced to fight 5 full floors on only 20 total hearts of life and most monsters will take at least a heart if not 2 or 3 before they die. and worst of all, if you die you lose everything you had in your bag. also there is no way to get upgrades without going deeper in the mine, but its so hard that you cant even get past the first few floors to do so. and lastly, to make money you have to sell ores which would be fine but they makes you sell them 1 at a time and take a 40% taxes so you get hardly anything for it. this game should be skipped until the devs hire somebody who knows game design because as it is right now, its so hard to the point of being almost impossible. ### 1/5 — A waste of time *2023-05-11, version 1.12.237* Won’t even load ### 1/5 — It’s not letting me play the game! *2023-04-30, version 1.12.218* when I get on the loading screen it just kicks me out of the game. ### 1/5 — Awful *2023-04-29, version 1.12.218* Couldn’t even complete the tutorial. Uncovered the ladder, yet can’t use it it. Walk over it - nothing, tap it - nothing, use pick axe on it - nothing. Wandered round for a bit, nothing else I can do. Closed the app and restart to see if it fixed it, and it wants me to start the tutorial from the beginning. Instant delete ### 1/5 — Stardew’s Mining System, but Bad. *2023-04-12, version 1.12.180* It’s basically a paired down version of the mining system from Stardew Valley, reskinned in a sci-fi theme and stuffed full to the gills with the standard mobile game tactics that push you into micro transactions. The controls aren’t very responsive, and the game punishes you a lot if you don’t pay for upgrades. You can buy healing packs for like 800 gold that only heal HALF a heart, meanwhile even the weakest enemies deal at least a whole heart. I’m short, it’s easy to die, hard to survive, and even harder to make anything close to enough gold to actually upgrade your stuff. Bad game. The movement feels great, a little slow, but once you get the hang of it you can cruise. The fights are challenging, rewarding, and challenges are fun to grind and improve on. The discord is active and developers are in there daily. They have big plans and the game shows that. The progression is clear and rewarding.
