I hate that you can't decide to make flag long press or short press and the choice is just forced on you. The only reason I downloaded this game was that the aesthetics were reasonably nice looking, but 100% not worth. Also, the expert and hard levels are paywalled ### 3/5 — A little annoying *2024-11-14, version 2.1.0* It’s a little annoying to play. You can quite literally only play the easy and medium levels and then the dev wants you to pay for the hard and expert levels. I just wish it would show currently playing audio (i.e. podcasts, music) in the Dynamic Island when audio in the app is off. It even does this when I turn off sound, which doesn’t make sense. Edit to update: Audio now continues to play, but strangely this app overrides the Dynamic Island, making playback controls inaccessible from the app. Seems unnecessary when audio in the app is off. The only suggestion I have to make it a 5 star is to swap what a click and a long press does. **Developer response:** Glad you like the game! Thanks! ### 4/5 — Great app with some room for improvement *2023-08-10* This app is really great. I’m so glad for a game app that doesn’t include all kinds of trackers. The biggest area for improvement is how the app behaves in the background. When I leave the app in the middle of a game but don’t fully close it, the timer continues to roll and sometimes when it’s been long enough the app loses game progress. Please make it so that the timer stops upon exit and the app is better able to retain game progress in the background. **Developer response:** Hi, Glad you like the app! I've made changes to the latest version to improve the game experience when the app moves to the background. The timer now pauses when the app deactivates and resumes when the app returns. Also, the game state is saved so that you can continue the game after it has been in the background. I prefer left-click/right-click to short-click/long-click....yep, even on a Mac :) Maybe a third option: click/shift-click ? Thanks for the great fun! ### 5/5 — Straight to the Point *2024-02-24* I’ve tried a several different Minesweeper apps and this one is exactly what I was looking for. There are zero ads and you can just easily play Minesweeper. It also takes advantage of Game Center so you can easily compete with your friends and the global leaderboard. Hard and Expert modes are locked behind the full game purchase but at just $1.99 I think it’s absolutely worth it. ## Most praised reviews (1 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Best ui in minesweeper/ must play!! *2023-11-28, version 1.9.2* I have been trying to play minesweeper in phone for a while, however I don’t like the ui of minesweeper game which look like it from 1990 and this game have the best ui.
