We can’t remove the false flag !! ... according to Sweepy Mines: Tap and hold the false flag.... it works !!!! But why this happens sometimes should be fixed 😉 ### 3/5 — Fun *2017-07-16, version 3.1.6* This was a fun minesweeper game ### 4/5 — Good game. *2016-10-24, version 3.1.1* This is a pretty fun game to play when you are passing the time that reminds me of mine sweeper on Windows computers, but I do have one thing that would be a good addition to this game. It would be really nice for there to be a save function so that if you start a fairly large map, you can save it and open it later where you left off, as it is often hard to complete large maps in one sitting. Aside from that, I really like how you can mark where you think the mines are rather than having to remember where they are. ### 2/5 — Saved games? *2016-06-16, version 3.0.3* Bought this for one buck thinking it would save my game. Nope. If you back out of a super hard game (400 mines) to answer a text or to take a break, you lose your progress. I wish they would fix that ### 2/5 — Done with this app 👎 *2016-01-23, version 2.3.1* I like minesweeper games and was really enjoying this app until I've had it crash on me too many times in the middle of a game for no reason at all. I wasn't even touching the screen this last time when it crashed and lost a game I had been working on for a little while. Crashing is bad enough but then losing my game in progress at the same time is simply unforgivable. I'll now be deleting this app. Too bad. It was my favorite version of the classic game but there's no sense in playing a game that you can't finish. FYI this is on my iPhone 6 running IOS 9.2 and there were no background notifications or other system related interruptions, no background music playing and I have a 98% charge. ### 2/5 — Fundamental issue *2014-12-09, version 2.1.0* I think this version of minesweeper has a programming issue that ruins the game. Often times I will lose a game when I hit a box that shouldn't have a mine in it, and it does. For example, I will have figured out that a mine is on the board, flag it, and it's touching a "1" - this means it's safe to reveal the other boxes touching that 1. Upon revealing them, I find that there is more than one mine touching that #1 box. ### 3/5 — Almost… *2014-11-17, version 2.1.0* On an iPhone 4s, my finger may be too large. Often rather than set a flag, the result is the selection of a square & a mine explodes. This does not happen with other apps! ### 3/5 — Scoring *2013-12-20, version 2.1.0* The best minesweeper in my experience... I would like to see a score based on accumulated average time, which can be reset. My best time is 3 seconds, but it had so much luck involved. An average time score will more correctly indicate skill. Always clearing multiple squares with the first ht makes even the Hard level too easy. Apparently a bug was added to the game in the last month or two. But the ads have become too obnoxious. Just recently they changed it so that you have to say no to buying ad free game after practically every game. The ads never bothered me, but this forcing of asking to pay for ad free after about every game is really annoying. I can’t find any where to turn it off. I am sure there are other mine sweeper copycats that don’t do this. I’ve had this game and enjoyed it for several years, but now it is so annoying that I am starting to look for other games to replace these beggars for money. If they are that hard up for money, they will probably be dropping off the app site anyway, so it is probably prudent to start looking for a developer that is not on the verge of bankruptcy or going out of business. This is the only conclusion or opinion that I can draw from this change in behavior. In addition to this they also turned on a function that asks if you want to pay for hints after practically every game too. What other conclusion can you come to? Maybe they bought a 300 foot yacht and need to pay for it. Us minimum wage people don’t have much sympathy for that either. Annoying to the point of harassment. ### 1/5 — Ruined by ads *2015-08-08, version 2.2.0* This was a good game. However, it has now been made unplayable by the volume of adverts that pop up during play. I'll be deleting it and getting a different Minesweeper app. ### 1/5 — Screen shakes & moves *2013-07-16, version 2.0.0* I prefer the previous version. In a matter of a few touches, I've tapped on a bomb because the screen moved. It's not the square I wart to tap on. I've played this enough to know which square to tap on. I've tried tapping slower & screen still moves unexpectedly. I also prefer the old version where we could play while seeing the whole screen. Not having a visual nor access to play the entire box feels like a forced play. I'm not sure where my starting point is when I press reset for a new game, besides the shaky screen. Overall, I don't like the new version. ### 1/5 — Absolutely hate the new update *2013-06-06, version 2.0.0* I used to absolutely love this app, but have not been very since the new update. It is so difficult to play without accidentally tapping on a bomb. If SkyPaw does not fix this soon, I'll be looking for a new minesweeper app. Please add the option of keeping the board stationary when I'm playing. In addition, in the mode where you only mark bombs. Please bring back the functionality that allows me to double tap numbered squares that have all the bombs around them marked and clear the board that way. ### 1/5 — Autoscroll is awful and can't be disabled *2013-05-16, version 2.0.0* Autoscroll on touch feature might be good for very slow players but for someone like me who is making several touches per second, it makes me miss whenever it scrolls. You will hate this more the faster you get, and it can't be disabled.
