I also purchased a Sync subscription, so the database can be shared across multiple devices. However, when I try to set up the sync account with the local database account, it keeps telling me there is an error and to email them. I emailed my issue more than a month ago and have received zero response. Quite frustrating. May just have to cancel the Sync subscription. ### 4/5 — For the win! *2024-08-15, version 3.5.5* I’ve been using Youth MinHub for several years. My students love to check in each week! It really helps our Student Ministry Staff stay on top of who is there and isn’t, keep up to date contact info, and recognize new faces. My only wish is that it was more desktop friendly for our check in stations that are not Ipads. Having said that.... IT IS AMAZING! Sign in, people management, ministry leaders, event creation, multi device sync, and a portal option for youth an parents to connect with the ministry. There is a paywall but even with it, there is so much crammed into the free version you can easily get started, incorporate it, and see if the added features meet your needs. I have had some struggles with support over the years, however context is important. This app is run as a side gig by one man. Yes, I waited a while and had to try a couple of different avenues to finally get help. But the app developer himself reached out and personally helped with my problem through a zoom call and multiple emails and different layers of a problem. To me, its worth sticking it out because I have found no other app that does what this one does. ### 5/5 — BY FAR THE MOST SOLID DATABASE FOR YOUTH *2021-02-04, version 2.8.1* Staying connected with parents and teens is vital to the success of any youth group. This app single handily covers all the bases. We’re using the MinHub Portal as well and absolutely love it! Having this data has helped us stay up on some students that maybe tend to fall through the cracks, get reminders of events out, update the parents about meetings. I truly am thankful for MinHub Youth. Our Youth Ministry Team is loving it! 10 Stars!!!! ### 4/5 — Great app *2021-01-20, version 2.8.1* I really appreciate this app. It is a very useful tool to track loads of info or just the basics. I love that I can keep up with birthdays, parent info and methods of communication to students. Plus, their customer support is on point. I’ve reached out to them twice with issues and each time they were attentive and solved it. Will not even return an email. Email comes back as not authorized. No contact information listed. This is supposed to be a company that serves churches. Beware!!! ### 1/5 — “Great Potential, But Frustrating Setup Experience” *2025-09-09* I had high hopes for MinHub Youth + Sync + Portal after subscribing to the $25/month plan. I spent hours inputting my students, parents, and leaders into a database, only to hit a wall when trying to verify my Sync subscription. No matter what I tried, it just stayed stuck. What’s most frustrating is that when I reached out for help, the response I received was the same copy-and-paste instructions from the original setup email, not the direct support I needed for the issue I was actually facing. In the end, I deleted the app (and all my data) out of sheer frustration. I truly believe this tool could be a game-changer for youth pastors like me, but the lack of responsive support and the risk of losing hours of work makes it hard to recommend right now. I hope the developers will address these issues, because I want this app to succeed, it has real potential to help ministries thrive. ### 1/5 — No support *2025-08-19, version 3.6.1* Purchased subscription and does not work for us due to tech issues. Great app if supported. Reached out multiple times, multiple platforms and no reply. Every six months or so our passwords won’t work. Also, what’s the point of tracking data if you don’t have easy access to reports? Everything one can do within the app is harder than it should be… also why can’t two users take attendance at the same time??? I’m not sure how much we’re paying for this service, but if it’s not free we’re getting ripped off. I am a new user, and what I thought would be a perfect to our ministry has become a unnecessary and unwanted headache. Please someone help! ### 1/5 — Can’t Contact *2021-09-24, version 2.8.2* I used the app when I was in student ministry, and functionally it worked great for us. But over the last few years since leaving I can’t get anyone to ever reach back out so I can cancel my subscription. I don’t need it but get charged $70/year because their contact form on their website doesn’t work correctly. The issue is, I can’t log in to my account because the email that was attached no longer exists since I left the church I was on staff at. ### 1/5 — ZERO SUPPORT *2020-02-27, version 2.4.1* This app was awesome, but now the smart filters do not work, and the app crashes regularly. It is a good app, but needs much work, and the developers have not shown improvement on these known issues. They developers go from being helpful to M.I.A, and there are severe bugs that do not get addressed. With improvement, it's great. I have been reaching out via support for over a month with ZERO response from the creators. Was just charged our $80 for the year and can’t use the app. ### 1/5 — Love this APP but..... *2020-02-11, version 2.4.1* I bought this App about 2 months ago to streamline attendance and communication with students. It worked great for a few weeks, but then somehow I got logged out. I have tried and tried to log back in to no avail. I have reached out via Twitter to the administrator and had almost no response. After 4 or 5 times of contacting them with no response and no resolution has been very disappointing. It’s now been over a month since I’ve been able to use the App. There’s been zero effort on the company’s part to reset my password or help me get in the back end. I am very disappointed with this situation and have decided to move on. We got the program and begun implementing it tonight. I'm loving it. If you been taking attendance on paper you'll love the switch. I had to reach out to support and they were super friendly. It is hands down the best tool I have found to track student activity. Now I can track finances of students as well which really helps with trips and activities. When I reach out for help I can talk (message) directly to the developer with questions and ideas for new features.
