### 3/5 — Videos?

*2015-06-12, version 1.2*

As I looked through comments it appears that this has been a problem for awhile and not addressed. Videos are not ok! So disappointing.

### 2/5 — Can no longer see videos

*2014-11-27, version 1.2*

I loved these apps when I first got them, but I no longer seem to be able to open, or often, even see the videos. I'm not sure if this happened after the latest iOS update? Can this be fixed?

### 3/5 — Videos not working

*2013-12-05, version 1.2*

My son loves this app and we've had it FOREVER. all of a sudden the videos don't work right - they open up into a big window with a tiny video showing. Not sure if theres a setting to fix this, but it's driving me crazy. You can barely see the video anymore! Please fix this!!!!

### 2/5 — Videos messed up

*2013-11-30, version 1.2*

I am a speech -language pathologist and my students loved this app for language therapy. However since upgrading to the new operating system the videos do not work properly. They are cut off and don't fill up the box. So now it is virtually unusable by my students. Please make and upgrade.

### 4/5 — iOS 7 messed this app up

*2013-09-26, version 1.2*

This app worked great and my 4 year old loves it. Ever since the iOS 7 update it isn't rotating all viewing directions as it did prior to the update. I'd give it 5 stars if this bug were fixed.

### 4/5 — Awesome

*2013-08-22, version 1.2*

My loves it!

### 4/5 — Teacher

*2013-08-06, version 1.2*

Just previewed this app to use in my Kindergarten. I am really glad I watched one video, about horses,as I saw other suggestions to watch. So happy it was me, not a student that watched the stallion mount the mare in full colour. I will be turning off the video option, but my tech savy K's can easily enable it.
Not worth the potential problems. Please fix this.

### 2/5 — Foul Language in the very first video he watched!

*2013-01-21, version 1.2*

I couldn't believe it when the very first video he watched (Wake boarding) had foul language in the lyrics. Seriously? Someone thought this was appropriate for kids??? If they get rid of this video (we haven't watched all the others yet), I might change my rating.

### 4/5 — Variety

*2012-12-08, version 1.2*

This is an informative app, providing multiple examples of words beginning with the letter sounds. Videos are lively, adding to the variety and interest of the app.

### 2/5 — Not geared to young children

*2012-11-22, version 1.2*

Some pictures are outside the experience of children young enough to still be learning sounds. Okay for older ones but what's the point? 'tuk tuk'? I like the use of lower case letters. No need for videos.

### 2/5 — thoughts

*2012-11-16, version 1.2*

This is an entertaining app But I don't like the fact that I can't explore the letters of the words which is which I'm being taught. I would like to see if the phonic sounds of the letters of the word coming into play here to teach kids to read opposed to treating the words as sight words as some of the words are too long to be sight words. not enough control for the user other than listening to a word being read and a video. I would not give this app to my students. little writers app has a better concept.

### 3/5 — Mini Adventures

*2012-11-14, version 1.2*

The videos are a lovely idea, but a few suggestions to tweek it:
Street Sweeper could have less time on the brushes and show a
    full view first.
  Donkey, please skip the fall.
Cruise ship video too long.
Jet Ski, too reckless for our school children.
Taxi, inappropriate for learning.
Our students have limited attention spans so please catch them
right away to teach the vocabulary

### 3/5 — Teacher

*2012-11-11, version 1.2*

This app has a great potential for city kids to understanding the daily life and chores of the folks in the country and other parts of our state, but some of the photos that are suppose to be "funny" are definitely NOT! These are completely inappropriate for students of any age. Great videos, even though some are shot with an unsteady hand, causing the video to be shaky.

### 4/5 — Teacher

*2012-11-10, version 1.2*

Fabulous app, but need a way to control what videos can come up with repeated viewings. Some inappropriate for school.

### 4/5 — Cool

*2012-11-02, version 1.2*

On the basis of what I have seen so far my son was very happy using the app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Please update to ISO 8

*2014-10-10, version 1.2*

My son loves this app and used it all the time but when we updated to iOS 8 the videos will no longer play properly. They won't full screen and if they do, they go all black with sound only. The original size of video is like a postage stamp so they are completely unviewable. Also we have to kill the app to exit if we try to enlarge a video. I sent mail to support but did not get a rely. Too bad. I wish they would fix it and support iOS 8. For now this app is disappointing and not useful.

### 1/5 — Warning: not age appropriate

*2014-09-03, version 1.2*

My son (5 yrs) has seen and heard things that he shouldn't with this app which is too bad. He really liked it but I can't let him continue playing it. Plus it gets stuck and needs to be reinstalled.

### 1/5 — Innopropriate videos

*2014-09-01, version 1.2*

I love this app except for the fact that it has many videos containing explicit language and graphic content. This is a child's app and I wish someone would watch the videos before including them to ensure they are appropriate. Some of the roller coaster related vids in particular contain cursing, and the second roller coaster video is all about accidents which includes graphic footage and dead bodies. Please review and remove
 all inappropriate videos.

### 1/5 — Update

*2014-05-21, version 1.2*

Please update this app to support iOS7. The videos don't play back in the right size. I would rate this app 4 or 5 stars if this was fixed.

### 1/5 — Videos are irresponsible and full of swear words

*2014-03-28, version 1.2*

If you had screened the videos connected to this app this would have been an invaluable learning tool for children. As it stands..you have selected videos that are full of swear words such as f..k! What were you thinking.there is a complete lack of responsibility regarding childrens very impressionable learning.you have marketed this app without any consideration to your target audience.sorry but its appalling.if you actually read your reviews you have the opportunity to correct this..potentially save your reputation but most importantly shield children from a lot of the unexceptable content... Bad language and in doing so may redeem yourselves in the eyes of parents.sorry but some of the video content is inexcusable and definitely unacceptable. Be responsible check them out screen them and get rid of the offensive ones.

### 1/5 — If I wanted my two year old to learn the f-bomb

*2014-03-04, version 1.2*

If I wanted my two-year-old cussing from an early age, I would recommend this app. We were watching the sledding video when the sledding-man dropped the f-word. Are you kidding me? When an app is geared towards children, monitor your content, for heaven's sake. I deleted the app before we could stumble across more gems like this.

### 1/5 — Profanity laced video

*2013-06-17, version 1.2*

Initially, I was impressed with this app. It has beautiful graphics and neat videos to provide visuals for the words. Until, we get to the video for the word "sports car" in which the video contains a very loud and clear F bomb. There was a vague disclaimer at the beginning of the video, which I had not noticed with the other word videos, but the disclaimer did nothing to warn me of what was about to come. Needless to say, the app has been deleted and I won't be downloading any apps from this company again.

### 1/5 — Pornography, Foul Language, Adult Subject Matter

*2013-01-01, version 1.2*

PARENTAl WARNING!!!
This app is inappropriate for any age child. It has potential to be a wonderful educational tool but the problem is that the videos are with I believe U-Tube so that one word will link to another thus taking a user into murky water. If an adult is not with the child using the app the child could go from Elephants to elephants mounting one another to dogs humping, to other animals copulating to humans.

Yes the graphics, videos and still photos are of supreme quality but there is no monitoring of the content. Please remove it from showing up in any search for Apps for Toddlers or any child till this problem can be remedied.

### 1/5 — Not worth the money

*2012-03-30, version 1.2*

Awful, as an educationalist I cannot see the point of this app at all. Maybe for someone who has a fascination for vehicles, but then not all entries are vehicles. Not for me.

### 1/5 — Very impressed turned sour

*2012-02-07*

We just got the app and my 4 year old quickly took to it. I too was impressed with the pictures, videos, and ease to navigate. As I went back to my activities and he played I was shocked to hear the language of one of the video songs the inline skating video. I like the app and was going to give it five stars but cannot when a child's app has lyrics such as those. Videos should be screened better. I will delete that video and use the app if I can get it to move off the jeep pictures where it is currently stuck. I would change the rating if that inline video was pulled from the app. The video is great but lyrics not appropriate.

### 5/5 — Judicious app

*2012-11-06, version 1.2*

Judicious application to familiarize with the methods of travel and various inventions of man. Video examples to help understand how it works. Thanks for a good app.

### 5/5 — Download this app

*2012-11-06*

As a speech-language pathologist, I highly recommend this app. Sometimes it's hard to find photos of everyday objects and less familiar objects to use in therapy. This app has pictures of both and has multiple pictures of each object. I love that the students will be able to realize that not all rafts look similar, not all fire trucks look alike, etc. This is especially helpful for students who over-generalize. I also love the built in videos of the objects in action. What a wonderful app!

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2012-11-04, version 1.2*

My kids love this app!

### 5/5 — Mini Adventures- Let

### 5/5 — OT

*2012-10-29, version 1.2*

Great pictures and clear voice for the sound! My students will love this app!

### 5/5 — Fully customizable!

*2012-10-26, version 1.2*

All of my boys (elementary-preschool) really enjoy this app and have spent hours playing with it. I love the fact that it is completely customizable and that I can delete any videos that I don't like or add any new stuff that I want!

### 5/5 — Lets go and learn the alphabet

*2012-10-22, version 1.2*

This app is very informative and helpful.
