### 3/5 — Needs a smoother frame rate!

*2023-02-03*

Update please

### 5/5 — Great Distillation

*2021-04-09, version 1.075*

They really were able to get all of the 4X experience that you were looking for. It’s very simmer down though. Games only last a few dozen rounds. You have to make all the same hard choices that you have to make in much more advanced and lengthy games though. Each of the many races is just a little bit different from the others to make replay a thing. Overall I found it well worth a few dollars I spent on it, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the genre.

My only bit of feedback would be to include more instructional material within the game. Once you get going you pretty quickly figure out how the interface works. But at first the icons and numbers won’t make very much sense to you. Some of the technologies you can research are also a little confusing at first and could use some text explanation to smooth out the learning curve. But I was able to figure it out by just trial and error. Since the games are so short, you don’t have to invest your life into one game to figure out how some thing works.

### 2/5 — Could be great...

*2020-10-06*

But the balance is wrong! I’d love to have an open game, where turns are not measured! But by the time I have something working, I’m out of turns! I find the tech tree interesting, where it changes from game to game, but also annoying because a skill that cost 6 in one game might cost 10 in the next! I WANT to love this... but the seriously limited turns makes it unenjoyable!

### 5/5 — Loved it, I want more.

*2020-08-07*

Really great game, very much worth the money. Played it solidly all afternoon, really great mechanics. I struggle on a few races, but got the three stars in the end. Different races offer different challenges.

My only complaint is, I want more, it’s a bit short.

I’d love a game mode where there is no turn timer, and you just have to conquer the entire galaxy.

### 2/5 — Has promise, but sure needs work

*2020-07-30, version 1.075*

Very fun simple little galactic 4x. Nice array of technologies and upgrades. Races vary, but not widely. Relatively simple to pick up.

The problems:
-arbitrary 20/25 turn limit to the game. Why was this added? This adds nothing. You can’t finish a game in that amount of time. Frustrating.
- in game costs are waaaay too high. To get higher scores you need, essentially, to colonize planets. The population costs increase with every planet you colonize, but your population growth rarely increases along the same rate. With only 25 turns until the game simply ends, this becomes a random chance of winning; if you get good planets with huge resources bonuses, you win, otherwise, you lose; the VAST majority of games will not yield a start good enough for a win.
-combat with the AI is broken. The first game after the tutorial, you CAN NOT harm the enemy. You can build 4 ships, each vastly strong than the enemies’ sole ship, and you will still lose. One game, the ai was able to find my home planet and occupy it while I was barely able to build a single ship - space bandits setting. My one ship, though numerically equal to the enemy, was obliterated, and the AI proceeded to kill me. This was turn 6. It was at this point I quit. That is simply sill, and utterly killed any enjoyment I had.

TLDR: the game has promise and could be great, but it current has a few BLARING flaws that make it almost unplayable.

To the devs: I really want to like this game, but pleeeeease get rid of the absurd turn limit; that really kills the game. It’s pretty clear you did not have a lot of play testers.

### 3/5 — What a shame

*2020-02-09*

This game had great potential, sadly it is now abandoned. I did spend a couple of months playing through but due to various bugs and tiny text I have had to give up.

### 4/5 — The game is improving with every update.

*2019-05-14, version 1.073*

I really enjoy playing this game. It’s very quick and I find it’s addictive to try to beat your last score.

I am not sure If it’s more Strategic or tactical but it did fun to play.

I would like to see multiplayer added.

### 4/5 — Revised after updates

*2019-05-14*

Developer seems to be ontop of bugs and feedback and is putting out constant updates.
The randomness and bugs that caused my review are either gone or being worked on.
Overall it’s a good short 4x, my only criticism now is I wish there was more turns and bigger worlds as I want to play more :)

### 5/5 — Awesome game!

*2019-05-12*

Takes a bit of time to get used to the super short gameplay compared to most 4X, but I actually really enjoy it now.

It’s a little annoying that some games are decided by the technology graph not containing any weapons though.

### 1/5 — More luck based

*2019-05-11*

Feel like your completely reliant on getting a good world and no skill what so ever
