## What is Mini Notes?

If you want a notes app that's “open and write, tidy as you go, never lose a word,” Mini Notes is built for you.

**Auto-save, so every quick note is safe**
Even if a call comes in, the app is interrupted, or your phone runs flat, anything you hadn't saved is brought back automatically. No hunting for a save button—just write.

**Flexible organization, your own knowledge base**
Manage things as “Notebook → Group → Note” with multi-level nesting for complex setups—or skip filing entirely and just jot things down.

**One-tap sharing, capture ideas on the spot**
When you spot a passage or link in Safari or another app, just tap Share and choose Mini Notes. It drops straight into your inbox—no copying back and forth.

**Effortless formatting, clear at a glance**
The rich-text editor gives you bold, strikethrough and a 12-color preset palette, and remembers the last color you used so you don't set it again. Titles inherit the body's formatting, keeping list previews clean and readable.

This update is about one thing: making what you write safer and easier to organize. It also brings a brand-new notebook/group system, richer formatting tools, a share extension, rating and feedback entry points, and expands language support to 50.

**Safer content — stop losing words**
- New draft auto-save: while you edit, the app keeps saving a local draft. Even if a call interrupts you, the system clears the app, it crashes, or your phone dies, everything unsaved comes back on reopen — down to the line your cursor was on.
- New notes are written locally the moment you create them, so you no longer depend on “remembering to save.”
- Fixed a bug where bold formatting occasionally “decayed” and vanished after repeated saving and reopening.
- Fixed occasional dropped characters during fast typing.
- Fixed undo history occasionally leaking into another note.
- Just opening a note to look at it no longer counts as “edited” and triggers an unnecessary sync.

**A brand-new notebook and group system**
- New “Notebooks”: create, rename and delete them; different notebooks stay fully separate.
- Groups now support multi-level nesting (up to 6 levels) — organize however you like.
- Notes and groups can both be reordered by dragging; you can move a whole group (with its subgroups) elsewhere in one go.
- New multi-select: pick several notes or groups at once to move or delete together, with a clearer confirmation before deleting.
- The group path now shows the hierarchy with “→”, and scrolls automatically when it gets long.

**Handier formatting tools**
- Rich text adds strikethrough.
- The font-color palette grows to 12 colors and remembers your last choice for one-tap reuse.
- Titles now show the body's bold and color, so formatting is obvious at a glance.

**New sharing and feedback channels**
- New share extension: tap Share in Safari and other apps, choose Mini Notes, and the link or text goes straight to your inbox and becomes a new note when you return.
- Settings adds “Rate us” and “Send feedback” entry points.
- New “Share with a friend” entry point.

**Language support grows from 30 to 50**
More complete translations, more accurate automatic language matching, and a manual language override in Settings.

**iPad experience improvements**
- New two-column layout: the note list on the left, the editor and history tabs on the right, so browsing and editing don't get in each other's way.
- External keyboard shortcuts for faster work.
