Especially when you’re logging into the same account. Once logged in under the same account all information and templates should be accessible. Work on it. ### 4/5 — Super alternative à un photobooth pro et super service client ! *2026-05-04* J’ai utilisé l’application Mini Photobooth pour les 70 ans de mon père, et globalement je suis très satisfaite de l’expérience. J’ai pris l’abonnement pour un mois, ce qui représente un petit budget, mais j’ai vraiment apprécié la possibilité de personnaliser entièrement les cadres photos. Le rendu était top et parfaitement adapté à notre événement. Gros point positif : les invités pouvaient récupérer leurs photos via un QR code, ce qui est très pratique et moderne. Petit bémol : les 250 Mo de stockage web sont un peu limités pour ce type d’événement. Pour une prochaine utilisation, je pense plutôt passer par l’envoi par mail ou messages. Nous avons utilisé uniquement un iPad, donc je n’ai pas pu tester les fonctionnalités avec un appareil photo externe — c’est un point que j’aurais aimé explorer. Au final, l’application fait clairement le job et nous a permis de passer un super moment, pour un coût bien inférieur à la location d’un photobooth professionnel. Le service client est au top en cas de nécessité, ils ont répondu rapidement à mes demandes :) Suggestions d’amélioration : * proposer des abonnements plus courts (2–3 jours ou une semaine), mieux adaptés à un usage événementiel * proposer des packs de templates harmonisés (même couleurs, typographies et éléments graphiques) pour un rendu encore plus cohérent Bref je vous recommande cette application pour vos événement ### 3/5 — Élargissement et mincement des photos *2026-03-27, version 4.27* C’est bien, mais il faudrait avoir l’option d’élargir nos photos qui ont été prise verticalement pour être dans les trous vides pour bien placer ### 2/5 — Revoir les tarifs d’abonnement *2025-11-22* Il est bien dommage de ne pas avoir u tarif d’abonnement au week-end. Une offre aux alentours des 5-6€ serait parfaite pour un week-end… ### 2/5 — Photos not stored in account *2025-10-19, version 4.10* I didn't like how things were not saved in my account for instance I made a background on my phone but when I logged into my account on another device my template wasn't there. Same with event pictures they are stored on device used but not in account which I find is inconvenient. I should be able to use any device even one that I do not own & log in and access my app as well as having the photos accessible on any device. One big annoying design flaw is not having a "save" button while making custom templates and start screens. Too many times I've lost too much time having to redo edits due to the app losing and/or not saving my edits - very frustrating when you spent 15 minutes making the perfect template only to find out as soon as you leave the edit page that none of your work was saved. This happens more often than not. Compared to other similar apps, this one is very pricey for what you get but what does set it apart is the intuitive interface and tons of premade templates ready to go. You can find other apps at half the cost and with more features but good luck deciphering their interfaces. Very easy to set up and customize templates. I paid for the subscription to get rid of the watermark the first time I used it for an event. I immediately unsubscribed and the watermark didn’t come back, which is great. Up until this past May, I was able to use the app without any issues but I’m trying to upload images to make new templates in July/August and the images disappear once I exit from the editing mode. They still show up in the layers so I have no idea why you can’t see them. Tried updating, restarting, deleting and reinstalling the app, nothing is working so far. Emailed them and no response either. I’m going to look for a new photobooth app. Pretty disappointed that a once reliable app no longer works. **Developer response:** Hi, sorry about the trouble. That was a bug that has since been fixed. Please update your app and it should work as before. Additionally, like any software system, we find things we’d like to change, Mini Photobooth has implemented many ideas I’ve brought forward. A year and some change later, this is my go to platform! ### 5/5 — Easier than most DIY apps! *2025-10-26* I needed a quick DIY app for a 1 year old party - and this was the easiest, most straightforward app for a brain dead Mom with little to no time (there are more robust apps out there, but ain’t no Mom got time for that!). The templates were so easy to use - great variety, and if I had more brain space, could have designed my own! Loved that you could customize the welcome screen. Made a makeshift booth with two tripods, a hella old iPad and ring light, and voila - an amazing keepsake for everyone. Even though the text/email service didn’t work (either because we were in a basement or I wasn’t on Wi-Fi) - it still saved all the pics that I was able to send after the party with a quick little note (highly recommend this approach!). For $20/month, this was a no brainer. I probably spent 1 hour setting this all up vs. the hours spent researching other apps. Do yourself a favor - stop researching all the other apps under the sun and just get this one. ### 5/5 — Subscription model shift: A mixed Experience *2025-05-13* I’ve been a long time user of this Photo Booth app, and appreciated the user-friendly interface And the memories it’s created with the events I’ve been booked for. Previously, the option for a one time purchase. Made it an exceptional choice for occasional users like myself. However l, with the recent shift to exclusively monthly or annual subscriptions has made it a difficult choice to continue to subscribe. Well, I understand ongoing maintenance requires. Sustainable funding. It would be beneficial To have a flexible pricing. I hope the developers continue diversifying their pay options. ### 5/5 — Great addition to the event! *2025-05-13* I had been looking through the App Store for something like this but couldn’t seem to find anything that worked for my budget or my situation, no fancy equipment— just had my phone to use. I almost gave up my search but midnight the night before the wedding I couldn’t sleep and found this app and I’m so grateful I did! It was effortless to use. We kept my phone on a tripod ring light in front of our picture booth area. The app stayed open the entire time. Guests just came over and hit the “go” button. Took their photos and texted or emailed it to themselves and then hit next guest option. I loved that it allowed you to customize the options, so I reduced it to those two, making it quick and easy for guests. It also saves every picture to your camera roll so you get their customized strip but also each individual photo which is fun! I found the perfect template and design for our event. There was so much to choose from and I really liked how I could even customize the translucency of the print. Worth every penny!
