Klangtechnisch auch nicht der Hit. Retro ist ja schön und gut, aber es gibt so viel bessere Synthesizer im Store wie Sand am Meer. Es gibt keinen vernünftigen Grund, sich hiermit rumzuschlagen. It doesn't sound true analogue like some upper end tablet synths come close to, but I don't know how the original EHX synths sounded (I did have a micro-synth pedal for guitar which sounded decent and this sounds close but not really alive). Obviously it's not a Moog iSynth and it's probably a worthy buy for £3.99 if you have the money spare and can't afford a more versatile and realistic synth (both Moog synths on here are HIGHLY recommended if you can!). I kind of feel like I should have bought a watermelon instead, this will last longer but probably won't see much use. still, good enough. ### 2/5 — Going to be great... *2016-07-27, version 1.0* Looks good, sounds good in demo but like the first reviewer says: it crashes immediately when a note is played. Looking forward to this issue being resolved asap and making some good noise. I have the iPhone version it seems to work fine….paid (again)to get the iPad app. Is there an update coming? Am I missing something? Doesn’t seem to be any support. Just wish the volume was a bit higher. It tends to run lower volume than my other moog synth apps. ### 5/5 — Great, just make sure you have latest IOS *2016-08-13, version 1.0.1* Once I updated my IOS this app behaved perfectly. It sounds amazing, much fuller and meatier than I expected. I play it with my Korg NanoKey and it responds with no latency that I can see. Now PLEASE can we have a hardware version? Korg have proven the formula with their Volca range. Re-releasing this in its hardware form would be awesome! ### 5/5 — A Lot to Like About this Definitely Old School Synthesizer *2016-08-04, version 1.0* It has a simple interface with not a great many controls. But if you have an idea for a particular sound that you want, be it lead, bass or special effect, then with careful programming I believe that you can get it. Not having many presets allows you a lot of storage for your own sound creations. The delay and reverb effects are quite beautiful and great for adding atmosphere. A lot of fun for not a lot of money. Can't wait for Electro-Harmonix next app..! ### 5/5 — Love♥️! *2016-07-29, version 1.0* What a huge surprise to see this great piece of hardware appear as an app! It sounds as good as the original (yes, I had one) and within minutes had several very nice patches created. Anyone can come up with great patches with its easy and intuitive interface. If the developer is reading please note a few things feedback wise. When using with a midi keyboard ( irig midi keys ) sometimes notes stick, when using it with a midi keyboard connected thru an Apogee Duet iOS, it's a lot of issues, ( too many to list ) one thing I'd like to do is not having to go to the midi menu to tell it an irig is connected, and for Gods sake, please get rid of that annoying clicking noise every time we click a button, it's pretty loud and no one really needs to hear it, thanks. ### 5/5 — Very Cool *2016-07-27, version 1.0* This was a very pleasant surprise. The hardware version was my very first synth back in 1981. Dialing up the "Analog Sweep" preset brought back lots of great memories. The hardware version had a great growl in the filter and this app does a nice job of capturing the unique sound of the original.
