I tried purchasing the MiniCord pro, yet it wouldn’t allow me and when i went to their discord server for support, their tickets are full and they don’t seem too active on their own discord server. Complete rip off. DO NOT BUY ### 1/5 — Won’t Let You Log In *2024-02-08* There appears to be a button to log in but if you touch it an ad for the premium subscription opens. You cannot log in and try the product making downloading it a fruitless endeavor. Perhaps give up, there will not be any discord on the watch worth using. Edit: It doesn’t turn up when you search for “discord watch” but there is a well rated discord phone app called “chroncord” that sounds like it might be halfway decent. Maybe look at that one! ### 1/5 — Won’t load *2024-01-17, version 9.91* Just loads and loads and loads. Regardless of WiFi or a strong 5G connection. Won’t even load the DMs. Like come on. You’re gonna charge for a subscription without letting me even try the app and it doesn’t even deliver. Flick of the wrist. My Series 9 will be dead before this app works. Very disappointed. You took my money. I expect your service to work. ### 2/5 — Used to be good *2024-01-09* I used to love this app but the recent update where they added a subscription kinda broke sending messages sometimes, it happened occasionally before but now its just absurd, i got their subscription aswell and it recently went through again but its acting like i didn't even get it and is asking me to get it again before just not letting me send anymore messages, the bottom line i used to recommend it but until there are some fixes i cant see myself doing it for now until the future. ### 2/5 — I only just got this but *2024-01-08, version 9.91* •I wish I could choose which servers I want on my watch because currently my bottom two folders are visible when I want the servers at the top of my list. •I try adding more servers and although it goes up to 90 I can only still see the same 30 out of order. Love what y’all are doing ### 1/5 — Practically a scam *2023-11-15* The app always worked just barely and was hardly tolerable to begin with, but after this latest update they want you to pay for a subscription to even log in to your discord account unless you don’t use 2FA. Top it off they have the audacity to keep asking you for a monthly subscription. ### 1/5 — A genuinely awful app ruined further by the developer’s greed *2024-06-09, version 9.91.1* The login page was already buggy enough so you couldn’t log in, so you were forced to use the QR login to even enter the app. Now the developer locked the QR login behind a subscription so that is also not a viable choice unless you want to pay extra for the most inconvenient app in the existence. Avoid at all costs, discord app’s message notifications already show up on your Watch without this app, you don’t need it. ### 1/5 — Straight up doesn’t work *2024-06-02, version 9.91.1* Can’t even log in. Tried all methods — phone login, QR code, and email/pass. Nothing worked at all, tried multiple times. Total waste of time. ### 1/5 — It’s pretty bad. *2024-04-24, version 9.91.1* I don’t have pro, so this it for the ‘lite’ version. Maybe in the future if it’s more functional? I’d be happy to try it again. They massively changed the ‘lite’ version to increase profits, I get it, capitalism and developers need paying, I really get it, but it makes the lite version unusable. Previously I could view all my servers on it, all my DMs and I basically used it to notify me, so I could respond on my phone. They reduced the amount of servers you can view to 1, the number of DMs to 1. It’s basically useless unless you have 1 friend and 1 server. It doesn’t let you select the server and picks one at random, and the service itself? Eh. It’s pretty buggy, clicking on a chat would sometimes take you somewhere random, and you’d have to click back through to find it yourself, but clicking on it took the notification away so you couldn’t find it on your phone? It’s subscription based so you’re kind of stuck paying for it if you want ANYWAY of accessing it in a kind of useable way? If you use discord a lot I’d say at this point? No app is better than this app. :-/ Which is a real shame. I don’t know if the updates made it more buggy? But it’s QR code login is in beta and doesn’t work, the phone login took a few attempts and restarts to log in to after it updated, for me to learn all the reductions to the lite version, and it’s just a little too slow and buggy for me to want to spend money on and upgrade to the pro version. If the lite version isn’t going to show a better range of use than this, it’s actually hindering your brand by not showcasing the amazing features it did have, bugs aside (I was still happily using it with bugs) it’s now more frustrating to have than not. I hope this isn’t taken in bad faith. I wish the developers and team all the best, I just can’t afford to pay out for the service that’s not being provided, and the lite version is not giving you the credit you deserve for the service you can provide! :) ### 1/5 — Half broken and requires a subscription *2024-02-24* When I bought this app, it had a lifetime subscription to use it. I paid once and expected it to work for as long as the company supported development. But not even 4 months later, they dropped that as an option and moved to monthly subscriptions with no support for legacy. When I asked, I was told they would do something for those who bought the lifetime subscription, but then got booted from the discord and can’t rejoin it. I paid for a lifetime to avoid monthly subscriptions. They should be delisted for false advertising and failing to take care of existing customers. But it was pretty good for being on a watch. Servers show nicely with even the server picture next to the name, and messages are sent without delay. The only thing I’ve noticed was that it takes some time to load the messages in a server when you first open the channel but that’s not an issue at all to me.
