The issue is pretty small but very annoying. You have to scroll all the way down each time you open your note. As someone who writes a lot, this is incredibly annoying. But it is pretty great! You can publish a link that updates while you write, as far as I’ve seen there’s no ai directly involved, and it’s pretty easy to use. Love this app but would love to get my problem fixed.

I really like the app, the very simple formats. With a nice to look at font that’s feels great to write with. But when I write for some reason the screen just turns white and I can’t see what I’m writing

I’ve used Simplenote for about a decade, 
but I keep coming back to Minimal because it’s way more beautiful. The absolute dealbreaker is the lack of a history (or Shake to undo).

If you delete something on accident, you’re screwed. This app is so close to perfect, but this is an absolute necessity that isn’t available in Minimal.

With it, it surpasses Simplenote as the GOAT.

Without it, there’s no reason to settle when there are dozens of note taking apps that don’t have this fatal flaw.

I usually use the notes app to write my stories but once they get longer it starts to really struggle. This app seems to be coping better so far. I like that you can change the font and size to make it more accessable although there aren't many option.

The notes widgets refreshes super slow. So slow actually that the only time it’s refreshed is when i manually resize the widget. Really bad, for an app like this to have such bad performance especially when it’s all about quick note taking

Sharing as markdow, as text, etc all do the same thing. Idk if devooer even knows what markdown is because it serves no function here. There are other small things that could be improved,!but that was a dealbreaker.

This app is the best note taking app I have found after trying many of them. Beautiful design and good functionality. The focus on simplicity means balancing underlying functionality with an uncluttered interface, not easy to do, but achieved by this app. I use it primarily for inputting writing ideas into my iPhone and retrieving them and working on them later on my iMac. This works seamlessly. The developer was very responsive and helpful last year when I had some questions about the app – he is clearly committed to its longevity.

Absolutely, undoubtedly one of the best writing apps I’ve ever used. Even though I’ve experimented with over 80 different writing applications and tools, Minimal still stands out to me and remains my personal favourite. Very simple and user-friendly design, but massive potential to unlock for experienced users. Great for writing, note-taking, and everything else, and subtle customisation is the cherry on top.

I say “Apple ecosystem” not just “iOS” because I use this on four devices - yes, even my Apple Watch, when I wear it. Single greatest markdown processor, absolutely beautiful, syncs immediately… I reluctantly use gDocs when I have to, I use Craft for some things, but Minimal has become my go-to. I’ve used it for interview notes, project tracking, a TON of business proposals (surprise: many clients actually PREFER a simple, concise, plaintext breakdown over flashy interactive guff!) - I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about Minimal. I’ve been using it since its first publicly-available TestFlight build; it’s become a truly indispensable part of my day to day life. A true gem, 11/10.

This app is the best note taking app I have found. Beautiful design and good functionality. It's just a pity that after a recent update it won't run on anything earlier than macOS 14.

Fue horrible, muchos escritos se me borraban si nos lo guardaba o si por error me regresaba a la pagina principal ya no estaba. Sufri mucho despues de tanto escribir que no hubiera forma normal de regresar a lo que estaba escribiendo.

Dos veces ya me paso que al volver a leer algo que habia escrito, le faltaban párrafos, o se cortaban palabras y se saltaba hasta otra parte y borraba información, no es justo y ya lo comprobé, grabe un video de cuando lo borra y lo cambia.

App worked pretty nicely. Loved the minimalist aspect of the interface and writing. Markdown was extremely easy to use and stayed out of the way. All was great until I changed the sort order to drag and drop. App immediately crashed and would never open again. Removed and reinstalled. Nothing. I could long press the app icon to create notes, but would immediately crashed once you exited note to main list. Was a pretty great app for the 30 minutes I got to use it.

Crashed 3 times while trying to write a 5 min journal entry. Crash log mentioned NSSpellChecker so could be happening every time I misspell a word. Currently too unreliable for me to use.

Spendere 49 euro all'anno per una applicazione "minimale" come questa è una vera assurdità. Alllo stesso prezzo, anzi a meno, c'è infinitamente di meglio in giro, certi sviluppatori dovrebbero tenere i piedi ben piantati per terra quando decidono i prezzi delle loro applicazioini.
