Additionally the volume is so low even when paired to a Bluetooth speaker it is not loud at all. ### 1/5 — Not minimalist *2016-06-16* The purchase display made it look like you could have a minute count without the distracting seconds count. But I can see no way to set this up. The last thing I want while giving a presentation is to have the seconds count flying by! **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. We included the feature in version 2.0. For a less "intrusive" timer, please check our Nano timer. Please consider improving your rating, it would help us develop timer further. Best ### 2/5 — Half perfect *2016-07-21* It is too bad... there is a lack of 2 key functions: - No "clock" mode = too bad. Clocks are some times also used as implicit timers when a deadline time is given in a meeting - worst thing: when you switch apps for 2 seconds and come back to it, count down has stopped and all goes back to setting timing which is making the app almost unusable on the long run (or makes your phone unusable for the time of timer) The rest of it makes it a perfect app... **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. Switch bug is now fixed in version 2.0. As for the clock, this timer is intended to use as a display to keep the speaker / event on track. Not something running in the background. ### 2/5 — Не доработано. *2013-08-03, version 1.00* Выглядит супер, но при переключении на другие приложения — таймер сбрасывается. ### 3/5 — Good start, but work still needed *2013-05-27* I’ve tested dozens of timer apps for use in professional tradeshow and conference settings, and this one is better than most. But work still needs to be done before it’s good enough to use in the field: 1. A 3-second start-up splash screen with the app’s title and logo. Really? 2. No support for switching from landscape to portrait. Half of the app ONLY runs in landscape and the other half ONLY runs in portrait. Really? 3. There MUST be an option to have the app start counting UP when the timer is done -- rather than just resetting or displaying a “time’s up” message. Speakers must be able to see how far they’re going over time -- so the count-up upon timeout feature is critical. ### 4/5 — Sound issue *2026-05-19* Great visibility, but setting the time makes sound although system sound is fully turned down. Would be even better if I could start the timer on my iPhone or iPad from my Apple Watch. Sometimes the phone is on a table away from where I’m standing. When running on an iPad you can read it clearly from the far end of big rooms. ### 4/5 — Fonts broken on my iPhone SE *2021-10-27* On my iPhone SE the font doesn’t seem to work. Also sometimes two countdowns seem to be layered above each other. Best ### 5/5 — Update crashes on launch *2017-10-21* I LOVED this app, but the new update crashes on launch, on an iPad 2 running iOS 9. Update: after a couple times deleting and reinstalling the app, it’s back to the timer I love! I spent over 15 mins searching for a good timer to alert a speaker when he is about to go over his talk/part at the Kingdom Hall.
