I have only used their InPen for going in 4 years. The entire opening screen is useless to me, there's just one tiny line showing insulin on board and if I want to see how much i've dosed through the day I have to click through two extra screens to get there. If taking away the InPen app is your way of trying to force people to use you CGM, it won't work for me. I'm even more convinced I need to move to EverSense and a pump because this forced MiniMed Go app has made managing my care more difficult, ### 1/5 — Seriously? *2026-07-22* I can’t even get thru the initial set-up for the app because apparently you have to use one of their CGM sensors? It doesn’t give me any other option to advance to the next set-up step unless I choose a CGM product…. I don’t use ANY CGM sensors. I ONLY use the Inpen. If yall actually phase out the Inpen app completely, you will seriously put a lot of diabetics at risk. **Developer response:** We're sorry to hear about your experience. I was notified that the InPen app will be going away and replaced by the MiniMed Go app. So I thought I’d check out the new app today. The MiniMed Go app cannot be used as a standalone InPen logging app. It requires an Abbott CGM and InPen to be used together only to set up an InPen in the app. Will there be a new standalone app for InPen users for logging doses and calculating meal doses or an option to add an InPen only? It would be nice to see how long from the time the dose was administered. Maybe create a daily insulin dosage summary to look at a glance. Just a thought.
