Fun game if you have the money to spend, but if you don’t then i don’t recommend it ### 3/5 — Game mechanic problems on Iphone Xs *2020-05-29* Idk if its just an iphone Xs problem but the joysticks when using the ufo planes just lock in place randomly making u crash/miss a lot of shots and also, why in the world do enemy planes collect red hearts, its the most annoying thing when you chase a red heart that you oh so need in the battle with the kraken only for an enemy to pickit up and waste it, please fix these problems otherwise I really loved the hit of nostalgia, I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw this back on the app store. ### 5/5 — What about the MiniSquadron special edition? *2020-03-06* So I love this game and I played this game when I was younger in like 2012, I was so happy I could redownload the game! But after beating the game, all levels beat, all planes unlocked, I remembered MiniSquadron special edition. This was my favorite game to play and kill time back when I was in college. I was so sad when I could no longer log on. But I stubbornly kept the app for years in hopes that one day it would update so I could play it again. So, I’m sure you understand that It felt like a dream when I saw it had a new icon design and was usable again last night. I’m so hyped and I hope the game will also get updates. Such an unsung gem. I left IOS for a few years of using Android phones. Recently came back to IOS and was sad that this cool game hadn’t been updated. Lol, fast forward a month or two and here it is. It’s been updated because it’s a Game Center game now. But because I paid for it back in the day, I can play without being a member. I’m happy busily re-acquiring my planes. Every thing is just like it was, the sounds, the controls. Such a fun game! I truly understand why GC would want it. Firing up the game after ten years was definitely something I though wasn’t possible, it is the best aerial game you’ll get on the AppStore. But for anyone who hasn’t bought this game previously you have to pay a SUBSCRIPTION, which is ludicrous especially since the game only used to cost 1$.
