The last two months, it hasn’t saved any of my Can’t Serve Times. I hit “Submit,” and it shows the unavailable time on the list. When I click away from that page and go back, the can’t serve time I just submitted is missing. This happens repeatedly, even after force quitting the app. Really frustrating! ### 3/5 — App Always Hangs on Startup *2026-05-09, version 2.1.1* Works some of the time. When I open the app, I get a spinning circle. If I hit Back, it’s always asking me to enter the organization ID or find the church. Sometimes if I close out of the app and come back in, I can luck out and it remembers me again. Most of the time it doesn’t though. It never seems to remember me, my login, etc. I just want it to handle that better and it’ll be a fine app. ### 3/5 — Cannot see upcoming schedule *2025-12-10, version 2.1.1* The app worked fine for a few months, could see schedule and even function within the app. Now, I cannot see the upcoming months that I am scheduled to work. It is handy to see where my family has been scheduled and to request times/dates when it’s not bugging out. This app crashes way too much. Then the app glitches out to the “provide your organization ID” page instead of a user login page. As of today (12/5/25) I’ve been sent around in circles too many times to consider this app to convenient. ### 4/5 — Review *2025-11-16, version 2.1.1* The app is a good way for scheduling people in ministries. Rarely any problems for me personally, maybe a few others using the app. Only problem is, I changed my password two times, and it’s still saying it’s wrong. I tried deleting the app to let it refresh, it’s still wrong. So now, I don’t even know when I’m scheduled 😊😊 ### 3/5 — Does not always work *2025-06-22, version 2.1.1* I have tried to log in several times and it says our organization isn’t found. I know we are there because I used it before and it worked fine. For instance, last week I was able to pull up the app and scheduler with no problem, today it’s giving me a message that my organization isn’t found. The church office said that the company’s answer was to delete the app and reload. That is not something I expect to do multiples times a year. No updates have been released for a year. When I close the app and re-open it, then I’m logged in. Also, at this moment I have just a white screen when I open the app. I’m using an iPhone 15, iOS 18.3. I have had to delete and reinstall it at least three times. It doesn’t open. It just comes up as a blank screen. The last time I tried to volunteer for particular duty, it didn’t show me as assigned and the said I was when I tried to revolunteer but ultimately did not assign me. I wish our church would use another program ### 3/5 — MSP Disfunctional *2024-11-27, version 2.1.1* I updated the system on my iPhone and now MSP no longer works. ### 2/5 — Can’t ever login *2024-11-25, version 2.1.1* This app is beyond frustrating. Every time I try to login with my different family members 80% of the time I have to end up deleting the app and starting over. I have actually been a leader and administrator for utilizing this program and the app is the biggest hindrance to scheduling. I find it extremely frustrating. I have an iPhone and perhaps it doesn’t like iPhones, but this definitely needs to be fixed. ### 1/5 — Outdated; look for better *2024-11-14, version 2.1.1* Decent as far as the early 2000s go. Like most “Catholic” software out there, MSP is outdated and not user-friendly. If you are looking for a new program to help organize your volunteers, go check out Planning Center Services. Much better user interface and functionality, 10/10. MSP on the other hand I’d give a 4/10. It does the job but it’s old and clunky. Basic functionality is missing or hidden in non-intuitive places. Not worth investing in if it will be new to your people. Edit 11/13/24: The Customer Service team is great. That being said, I am no longer getting emails notifications for one of my children. My husband‘s email is listed in addition to mine for the child I’m not getting emails for. He is getting those emails instead of me. We used to both get them, but for several months now it is only him. I have tried to delete his email so that I get the notifications, but it will not let me submit the changes. This coordinates with my tablet, my iPhone, and my PC. My wife and I are very busy people and we need to have this information on the calendars on all our devices. This app also allows me to ask for a substitute and to respond to requests for a substitute. It also links me with important information on the readings. It would be nice if we could be assigned to some of those other masses when we are not a sacristan. I attend daily mass so I am available a lot more than I am used. The only way to serve more is to select open slots for Eucharistic minister after the schedule is out. Great to have. ### 5/5 — The best scheduling app for churches and volunteers *2023-02-28* The MSP app is so helpful. As a volunteer, I can see my schedule, see who I am serving with, and access resources. It is easy to get a sub when I cannot serve. As an administrator for my church, the app now has the ability for me to manage my volunteers from my phone!! It is amazing to be able to make changes and process my web forms as I go about my day away from my laptop. Reading through the other reviews, I noticed that most issues reported have been addressed in software updates. And those who said they enter their away dates but then they disappear-well, that is on purpose! Volunteers can enter their away dates and the system can automatically process them. However, I have our MSP set to manually approve away dates so that I can address any questions. Therefore, the dates don’t appear until I approve them and I have shared that information with my volunteers to give me 24 hours to approve the dates. MSP is quick to address any issues that you have with their app or software. If you are a volunteer, please reach out to your administrator for help. They will either know the answer or will be able to alert MSP about the issue. Highly recommend this scheduling software and their attentive staff! **Developer response:** Thank you for your positive review! As you mentioned, a lot of the app is managed by individual churches, so reaching out ot a scheduling administrator is often helpful if you are a volunteer. ### 5/5 — Stopped working after latest update *2020-09-20, version 1.7.5* Five stars because it does what it’s supposed to do. However, the app stopped working after latest update pushed to Apple devices.
