I have a micro remote as backup, but it can’t either. Seems like an easy thing to add. ### 3/5 — Apple Watch Control *2023-05-21* Just seems like a natural fit. The co-pilot wrist remote was great you have could both hands casting and fishing and control the boat around objects if you hooked up in close proximity. I up graded to the Ternova with spot lock and really regret not having the wrist remote. In fact I would have to remove my Apple Watch and put on the remote and missed not having the watch on. Would be awesome if you added it to the Apple Watch. ### 3/5 — I-Pilot Link App *2020-06-29* My I-Remote that controls my Ulterra went out so I connected my iPhone to the trolling motor to try to stow and/or control it, and found out the app does not have an option to stow it. I was about 10 miles offshore and had to take apart the trolling motor to get it to stow which was not fun. I have an Ulterra and even bought a backup Terrova because I rely on my trolling motor so much and have so many issues with them. ### 3/5 — No buttons to stow or deploy auto deploy units *2020-06-15* This app could easily be configured for users with auto deploy motors. If I was to loose my remote over board with my motor deployed this app would be super handy if you could stow or deploy your motor Well worth the upgrade if you ask me ### 2/5 — GPS charts *2020-02-08* I don’t understand if you can remotely use the trolling motor from your phone and have gps to the phone why would you not make the i pilot app not work as a chart plotter with the trolling motor it’s all there with some software updates. It would just make more sense and cut costs of a link or other cart plotters just by using the phone. Apple Watch capable app is the answer to all my prayers....lol. And the crown better turn the unit or increase/decrease speed. It’s a bit cumbersome to unlock phone and wait for it to initialize every time I want to make a move but did the job. This is the PERFECT candidate for an Apple Watch app. It needs to happen ASAP. It would take very little development and could be a huge selling point. Worse, this app suddenly stopped pairing with my phone and I had to download I Pilot Link for it to work. No notification, just an inoperative app for controls only. A quick response is not always enough. The slightest touch on the screen of the smart phone will cause it to change direction by over 90 degrees. I want the Bluetooth back. So having this app as a backup in case I have remote issues simply won’t work if I can’t deploy or store my motor. It’s an app that lets you perform basic functions from your phone should you need to. I’m tired of the crocodile tears about not having functionality to control your boat from your Apple Watch. Get over it man. Minnkota gives you all the control you need with both the foot pedal and the Bluetooth remote. Too heavy?
