### 5/5 — Great App

*2019-04-13, version 2.1*

Shared with my spouse—each with one AirPod. Worked flawlessly.

### 4/5 — Worked very well for me!

*2019-04-11, version 2.1*

I haven't used this app for awhile, but used it again today. It was very easy to user, and worked great, except for two things:

1: When I started up the app (at the MIA), it asked me if I wanted to buy an audio tour. I did want to, but the screen didn't indicate what tour I would be buying. No exhibit name was mentioned. I took a chance, since the text provided looked like it was for Egypt's Sunken Cities, the exhibit I was going to attend. So it was the the correct one.

2. When I was ready to play audio #9, I turned on the display on my phone so select it, and all of the audios were gone, except for the free ones. I walked to the room where I listened to the previous audio, then the list came back. I returned to the exhibit that is described by audio #9, and had no problems after that. I was using version 2.1, which the Apple App Store described as containing all audios and pictures, to eliminate network issues.

With a few tweaks, this app will be great!

### 5/5 — Great New MIA Exhibit

*2018-11-02, version 2.1*

This app saves you a few bucks and was easy to use. Egypt’s Sunken Cities was a good exhibit and the audio from this app helped enhance the experience!

### 1/5 — It Didn't Work...

*2017-01-03, version 2.0.2*

This app was impossible to use. The audio would only play on the first 3 or 4 stops. I tried restarting my phone, deleting the app and redownloading it, using only the MIA's wifi, using only my cellular data.... nothing worked. It was very disappointing not to be able have the full Luther experience. I would recommend paying the extra $3 for the audio guide at the exhibit.

### 5/5 — Quit after the first audio

*2016-12-23, version 2.0.1*

Worked perfect the first audio selection, and then quit. I had text, but no audio and pictures. I needed to turn on the public WiFi from MIA. It then worked perfect with audio, text, and pictures. It was nice at home later I could listen to selections again.

### 1/5 — didn't work for me either

*2016-12-07, version 2.0.1*

I think that it's important to use the sound track; if i go back I'll rent their system.

### 1/5 — Didn't work at all

*2016-11-30, version 2.0.1*

Same as for other reviewers. I have an iPhone 7 with iOS 10.1.1 and after install, the app launches but then just sits there and doesn't respond. So disappointing. C'mon, MIA - you can do better than this. Have your tech team look at what the Rijksmuseum does, as an example.

### 1/5 — Abject failure - does not work on iPhone 6S

*2016-11-19, version 2.0.1*

On my iPhone 6S, the app absolutely fails to function. It opens, and then there's no response, regardless of whether I click "Take the Luther Audio Tour" or restore purchases. My phone has plenty of free memory. I closed all other apps; rebooted the phone; and tried it connected to wireless or through cellular. Same failure.

The app does work on my spouse's older iPhone 5S, and it does work on an iPad Pro 9 in. (But carrying an iPad in the gallery is not a fun idea - and my spouse will have their iPhone)

MIA -- For me, guided audio tours greatly enhance exhibitions. Unfortunately, this frustration is an irritation as I get ready to see an exhibit I'm looking forward to.

PLEASE, MIA, spend the effort and time creating these tours -- that are in fact an important part of the exhibit experience -- as you do in curating the fine exhibits. You don't skimp on lighting, temperature, placement. Why do you fail to do the same world class job with the tour? The delivery platform for the audio tour is just as important to the experience of viewing the exhibit, as is the placement of the pieces. (And this means vetting your delivery platform on the different hardware likely to use it -- for iOS, there are only so many)

(Oh, the fact that the link for "App Support" takes me to the home page of the MIA - and NOT to a support page for the app - is another, frankly, amateurish mistake for software development and support. In reality, your provide NO link for support for this app to end users.)

### 1/5 — Didn't work

*2016-11-12, version 2.0.1*

My wife and I each downloaded this app for the audio tour of the Luther exhibit. It failed us both, each in a different way. Mine wouldn't start at all, even after a reboot and an app reinstall. Hers started, but the audio stopped working within a few minutes. We ended up renting the tour hardware at the exhibit desk. We cannot recommend this app.

### 1/5 — Not loading

*2015-06-25, version 1.3*

iPhone 4
IOs 7.1

The "loading" icon just spins and spins when you open the app. Nothing else.
