I used the app for a couple of years, it was great.  Now it says I have to have IOS 18 or something on my phone.   Ridiculous. 
I paid my last bill at WalMart, with an extra cost.    Because your app is not taking my payment any longer, why should I be charged extra?   I called about this, got someone who said the app has been malfunctioning.      Guess I will go back to paying on paper.

Unfortunately, the app has never successfully loaded for me. I have sat on the initial loading screen for 10 minutes at a time on multiple occasions over my time using Minnesota Energy Resources. This paired with website issues has made it a consistent challenge to pay my bill in a timely fashion.

This app does not fit the iPad screen, is totally unusable when trying to access forgotten password. What a piece of trash. And that’s putting it nicely.

App allows payment of bills via Apple Pay, but inexplicably blocks American Express cards. They accept Amex on their website, so it’s not like they lack the infrastructure to use that payment network. Fees for electronic payments are egregious. 
UI is rudimentary and ugly - looks like someone tried to build an iOS 7 app but using only React libraries.

I connected service in Bemidji MN November 2023. When I opened the account your system added an account I closed and sold six years ago. Then your system took $291 from my checking for that old closed account.

This was a mistake on your side of the business. You now owe me $292 because of your customer service wrongfully tying that old closed account to my present address.

That old account was closed in 2019 and sold to other people. 

Now your customer service people tell me they can’t credit that wrongful billing to my correct account. I know by Minnesota law you have 10 days to return wrongfully billed accounts when it was your error.
