### 1/5 — Could not connect

*2024-09-21, version 1.1.0*

I am honestly disappointed in the app . I am having problems connecting the app to the camera . I had no problems doing so with the OM TG 7 but with this , it still doesn’t want to connect . I just wish there was a more clear instruction.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect

*2024-05-31, version 1.0.25*

Same as everyone else. Tried multiple times
Camera and iPhone do not connect with this App
I need a camera to connect for photo sharing immediately via phone. Seems this is a longtime issue with no fix by Minolta. Pretty poor business practice to say Wi-Fi capable when it isn’t

### 1/5 — App does not connect to MNZ67 Useless Camera

*2024-05-19, version 1.0.25*

This is perhaps the worst app development from a terrible camera company. Camera connects to WiFi, as does the smartphone, but I always get a message on the app that it had lost the connection. Worthless camera. Has never connected properly to the camera and pictures.

### 1/5 — Simply does not function

*2024-05-14, version 1.0.25*

It doesn’t work. WiFi is connected. Network is connected. Tech savvy person who use multiple other brands. The app is just useless and a waste of space. It refuses to recognize device even if on the camera it says it is connected.

### 1/5 — Does not connect to camera

*2024-03-29, version 1.0.25*

I’ve used both my iPad and my cell phone and the app does not connect to either one

### 1/5 — Still can’t connect.

*2024-01-23, version 1.0.25*

I don’t understand why this hasn’t been fixed? The problems I am having are the same problems from 2 years ago. I’m on iPhone 13 - this being the only Minolta app for the camera- youd think they would fix it???? I’m so frustrated!!

### 1/5 — OMG

*2023-12-28, version 1.0.17*

Worst app ever, it does nothing.

### 1/5 — Not any help. Worthless

*2023-06-11, version 1.0.17*

This app is the worst app I’ve encountered.
Each time I struggle to use it I get different results. The only thing consistent is that each time is a struggle. This app is worthless and toxic to any user that tries to use it. The people involved in writing this app should be permanently banned from writing apps.

### 1/5 — App is trash!

*2022-07-04, version 1.0.16*

My app will connect to camera and pull up the setting if but will go no further than that! Do not recommend! Does hook up to my Husbands phone tho and he has a android, just fine!

### 1/5 — Should rate 0–

*2022-06-19, version 1.0.16*

This app does more harm than good. Drains the camera’s battery whilst sitting on the homepage. Doesn’t even work.

### 1/5 — iPhone will not connect

*2022-02-24, version 1.0.15*

I bought the Minolta camera and have to get my husband’s android phone to download my pics, because this app will not connect to my iPhone 10. I can connect to android phones, so I know it’s not a problem on my end. Needs fixed so it will connect to iPhones!

### 1/5 — Why don’t you fix this!?

*2021-12-26, version 1.0.14*

I have a camera that I cannot link to my iPhone because they won’t fix this crappy app! My iPhone shows the camera linked to it but of course not this terrible app. I see there are multiple bad reviews on this, yet the developer does NOTHING to correct it! Why does Apple even allow this developer to put apps on this site if they don’t stand behind them! DO SOMETHING!

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2025-12-17, version 1.1.0*

If you want this app to work, you MUST turn off Cellular data in your phone’s settings as well as in this app. If you don’t do that, it will never work.

### 1/5 — If I could give it no stars I would

*2025-12-06, version 1.1.0*

This is the worst freaking app. You have to turn your cellular data completely off or it won’t connect? Are you serious? Get all the way out my face with that.

### 1/5 — This is such a confusing app

*2025-06-26, version 1.1.0*

I’m new to this camera and I thought that the app would have instructions on how to use it and connect it to the camera, but it didn’t so it made it so difficult I couldn’t figure anything out.

### 1/5 — Follow that other review to get it to work.

*2025-05-24, version 1.1.0*

So basically you have to go to Settings >WiFi > Name and type in the whole name + space. It will not auto pop up !
Then go back to settings disable cellular data. Then the app worked for me. I can download photos EASY!!!

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-04-10, version 1.1.0*

My camera doesn’t connect with the app. Tryin go to change the password but the menu screen doesn’t have that option. Camera is basically useless if the app doesn’t work. I called customer service, left a number and they that never called back.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect

*2025-03-14, version 1.1.0*

Have tried multiple times to connect this app to my new camera. Will not connect. Period. This, app is unable to download any photo, nor get past the “connect to your server” prompt… and on the camera “change your password” prompt. Zero support—no help figuring this out that I see via my $500 camera kit that comes with it. Apparently I’ll have to YouTube it. Until then I’ve had to manually hook my camera to the computer which is quite inconvenient every time.

### 1/5 — App does not connect!!

*2025-01-06, version 1.1.0*

I got this camera and have not been able to connect it to the App! So frustrating. It just keeps saying lost connection to the camera even though it’s connected through my WiFi

### 1/5 — App does not connect to MND70

*2025-01-03, version 1.1.0*

App does not connect to camera.

### 5/5 — Great… Read the Manual

*2025-07-14, version 1.1.0*

I read and followed the manual… No problems and easy set up. Very clear instructions! 💕 Love this app…!!!

### 5/5 — Great App and Camera

*2025-07-12, version 1.1.0*

I have an iPhone 16 and had no problems connecting the camera and downloading photos to my camera. The camera takes great pics and the zoom is perfect for taking photos like wildlife or sporting events. The different modes of the camera allow for wide creativity and the video with sound is of wonderful quality.

### 5/5 — No problem at all

*2024-04-30, version 1.0.25*

Easy connection with my iPhone 14. For people who says can’t connect, you will need to treat the app as a WiFi hotspot. Only thing I wish is the app automatically downloads all photos from camera instead of down pictures individually.

### 5/5 — Works as described

*2021-09-27, version 1.0.12*

This app has some bad reviews. Not sure why. I am using iPhone 11 Pro with iOS 13. I tried to connect my camera without reading the instructions and connection failed. I read the instructions and followed the directions and my camera connected just fine with no problems. I was able to take a few test photos. That will take some practice to get the camera adjusted and then use my phone to snap the photo. I can see how this could be useful in photographing wildlife. Set up the camera on a tripod walk away and use your phone to take the pics. I like how you can transfer photos from the camera to your phone if you want to share them right away instead of uploading to your computer first.

Short version to connect your camera:

The camera connects as though it is connecting to the Internet. So after you open the app to connect and it takes you to your permission settings for your photos to be able to access them, then you have to go to your WiFi settings and click on your camera name and put in the password from the camera. You can’t be connected to the Internet at the same time as your camera. Hope this helps...

### 4/5 — Follow the directions

*2025-12-02, version 1.1.0*

I picked up a Minolta Mn67z from EBay to have a small bridge camera with a long zoom that would always be with me or in the car. It works like a champ and at a little over a pound is an eighth the weight of my Canon dslr and 500mm lens. The ProShot app was simple to set up and lets me use an IPad as a monitor when composing shots, especially small stuff. The app is also a fast and simple way to send photos from the camera to a phone, tablet or computer.

### 3/5 — Terrible App

*2025-12-29, version 1.1.0*

If you want this app to work, you MUST turn off Cellular data in your phone’s settings as well as in this app. If you don’t do that, it will never work.

Update: Works perfectly with an iPad.

### 3/5 — Spotty

*2024-09-28, version 1.1.0*

It seems that the way to get this app working is to delete and reinstall every time you want to download pictures. I can get it to connect the first time, but subsequently it says that connection with camera was lost and it won’t reconnect despite forgetting & rejoining the camera network, etc. But after a fresh reinstall, it connects right away. Once connected, it works well.

### 3/5 — Not easy to set up link to phone.

*2022-03-28, version 1.0.15*

Let me start by saying I just got this camera today and I’m still playing with it. I could not get the Wi-Fi set up and there really are not any videos showing how to do it. This is what I have found.
1. The manual is of little help.
2. Disconnect from other Wi-Fi connections.
3. In settings under Wi-Fi connections look for your specific camera and connect. Using the password under the ssid name.
4. Your phone can only connect to your camera when your camera is in the Wi-Fi mode (in camera setting on the top of your camera).
Hope this helps others.

### 2/5 — THIS IS HOW TO MAKE THE APP WORK

*2025-04-05, version 1.1.0*

This app is a bit confusing on iPhone, but I got it to work. Here’s how: Turn the camera to wireless mode and connect with your iPhone’s WiFi. This was the easy step I could get to work no problem, and is explained in your camera’s manual. The problem I ran into was leaving the WiFi settings and then going to the app, it would always say the camera was not connected (even though the camera screen said it was connected to my phone). What you need to do is DISABLE CELLULAR DATA in the ProShot app settings on your phone. Once you do this, if you are connected to your camera under WiFi settings, and you open the app, it immediately connects to your camera, which you should see reflected on the camera screen. Hope this helps!! App developers you NEED to add this into the app as instructions when you first open the app, there is no info about this online, I figured it out solely through trial and error.
