## What is Minor Med Rest & Relax at Home?

The Minor Med Rest & Relax at Home Smart Phone application gives patients the ability to pre-register and check in to any of Baptist’s four Minor Medical Centers in the greater Memphis, Tennessee area from their home or place of work.  A staff member will get the patient’s information over the phone and call the patient when a room is ready.

The idea behind it is to give patients a chance to rest and relax at home until a room is ready at the Minor Med. By using this app, patients will avoid having to wait at the Minor Meds which can be uncomfortable for someone who is already not feeling well.

The information you submit will be used by Baptist Minor Medical Center to facilitate your registration for health care services.

Not sure what the point of this app is. I “pre registered” just with my name and number and got a call from Dominique telling me they’re a walk in clinic so I could show up at anytime. That’s not what the app is supposedly for. But ok, I’ll just show up so I can wait hours. Pointless.

No one called me or put me in line and I filled out lots of paperwork from a lady who KEPT MY ID and insurance card for an HOUR before she got me entered in the system and hardly anyone was in the place!

Downloaded the app, answered 3 questions, hit send, and they contacted me right away!   Because I was a new patient, I did fill out paperwork when I got there, but I was placed ahead in line because It stamped my “arrival”time as the time I hit send on the app.  Pretty cool.  I now have a MyChart account too so I’m automated from here on!

This is my 3rd time trying the ap. Each time I enter my information in just fine, it tells me someone will call in 10 minutes, then no one calls. Pointless!

Easy to use and worked well. I was sick and felt awful. I used the ap to pre-register and someone from the clinic called me back right away. When I got to the clinic, there was no waiting for me to see doc. Staff very sweet also. Recommend use of app over waiting in a waiting room any day.
