## What is Mintage?

A collector’s ledger for Pokémon.

Mintage is a TCG collection tracker for collectors who want more than a market-price total. Keep a clear record of your raw, graded, and sealed holdings - what you own, what you paid, how the market moved, and which changes are worth your attention.

THE RECORD UNDER THE NUMBER
• Record purchases, sales, trades, gifts, bulk lots, and pack openings.
• Follow cost basis, current value, realized gains, and unrealized gains or losses.
• Preserve transaction history across multiple buys and sells.
• Import an existing collection instead of starting over.
• Browse holdings in a visual gallery or compact list.

ORGANIZE AROUND HOW YOU COLLECT
Create named collections for the different roles cards play in your collection. Use Investment and Personal as starting points, or choose names that fit you. Each collection can have its own value, history, holdings, and market-oriented insights. Assign a default for new purchases, move holdings later, or leave them unassigned.

MARKET CONTEXT WITHOUT THE NOISE
• Review price history across supported raw and graded variants.
• See 7-day price movement on holdings and wishlist cards.
• Compare observed raw, PSA, BGS, CGC, and TAG prices with the grade price ladder when data is available.
• Review 30-day range, per-pack value, and sample coverage for supported sealed products.
• Follow the Mintage Pokémon Index.
• Set wishlist and holding price alerts.
• See concise “Worth noting” Signals for material moves, concentration, and inventory age.

Mintage reports the data and keeps the decision with you. It does not assess card condition, predict grades or opening outcomes, tell you what to buy or sell, or provide financial advice.

SCAN, SEARCH, ADD
Use your camera to read a card’s name, set, and collector number, then confirm the exact match before adding it. You can also search the catalog directly and browse sets when you already know what you need.

FREE TO START
Core collection tracking, market prices, transaction entry, price history, the grade price ladder, sealed market context, two named collections, and 10 card scans each day are available free.

Mintage Pro adds unlimited scans, holdings, and collections; expanded Signals; deeper portfolio analytics; holding-specific alerts; full transaction history; portfolio-versus-index comparison; and net-proceeds modeling using your own fee and selling-cost assumptions.

SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
Mintage Pro is available as an auto-renewable monthly or annual subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm your purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Prices and availability may vary by region.

## Frequently asked questions about Mintage

### What is Mintage's real cost basis feature?

Mintage calculates your real cost basis by tracking every acquisition, including purchases, pack pulls, gifts, and trades. This provides your actual average cost per card, not an estimate, giving you true insight into your investment.

### How does Mintage handle graded card pricing?

Mintage accurately prices graded cards from PSA, BGS, CGC, and SGC, including specific grades like PSA 10 and BGS Pristine 10. It does not apply raw card prices to graded items.

### Does Mintage track trades?

Yes, Mintage supports two-sided trade tracking. You can record what you gave and received, and how the cost basis transfers, ensuring you know the exact cost of each card even after multiple trades.

### How often do Mintage's prices update?

Prices in Mintage refresh automatically from a dedicated Pokémon Price Tracker (pokemonpricetracker.com). This covers the full English catalog for raw cards, sealed product, and all graded variants.

### Can Mintage track my portfolio's value over time?

Yes, Mintage includes a portfolio chart that tracks your total portfolio value over time. It displays period returns and your cost basis line, offering a visual representation of your investment's performance.

### What categories does Mintage currently support?

At launch, Mintage supports Pokémon (English) cards. The developer plans to add more categories in the future.

### Does Mintage have ads?

### 1.2 — 2026-05-17

What's New in 1.2
 - Buying and selling just got simpler. One streamlined flow handles everything, whether you're adding a single card or recording a bulk lot. Pick your items, review the details, and submit. For bulk transactions, choose how to allocate costs or proceeds across items with market-weighted or even-split options.
 - You can now record batch sales with automatic proceeds allocation across multiple holdings. The same way bulk buys work for cost basis. Sell a stack of cards in one transaction, and Mintage handles the math.
 - Tap any bulk buy, bulk sale, or pack opening in your transaction feed to open a full editor. Adjust the total cost or proceeds, change the date or platform, add or remove items, and re-allocate - all without deleting and starting over.
 - Price drop alerts are now on by default for new wishlist items. Set a global threshold in Settings, or fine-tune per item. No more forgetting to enable notifications.

General Improvements
 - Faster app launch with smoother loading
 - Improved chart readability
 - Various stability and performance improvements
