## What is mintopetas?

How often do you find expired yogurt or spoiled tomatoes in the fridge? mintopetas ("don't throw it away") helps you eat what you buy before it goes off.

SCAN AND FORGET
• Point the camera at the expiry date: the app reads it and shows it to you to confirm.
• Scan the barcode to find the product name.
• Back from the supermarket? Batch add puts all your shopping in at once.
• For loose food (vegetables, fruit, bakery bread) the app works out how long it keeps, depending on where you store it.

REMINDERS AT THE TIME YOU CHOOSE
• A reminder 2 days before and on the expiry day.
• With an idea for that very food: what to cook so it doesn't go to waste.

YOUR KITCHEN AT A GLANCE
• Fridge, freezer and pantry, colour coded: green, yellow, red.
• "Use by" or "Best before": the app explains the difference.
• "I opened it": the date adjusts itself for opened packages.

A SHOPPING LIST THAT THINKS
• Tick ready products by category.
• It tells you when you already have something in the fridge.
• "Bought → kitchen": your shopping moves to the kitchen in one tap.

SEE WHAT YOU SAVE
• How many foods you saved and how much money this month.
• A guide to 87 foods: how long they keep, how to store them, when to throw them away.

YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
• No account, no ads, no usage tracking.
• Everything stays on your phone. It only goes online to look up a product name from a barcode and to check for updates.
• New phone? Move your foods with step-by-step instructions.

Storage times are indicative and based on public food safety guidance. The date on the package always comes first.
