Not bad
A lot of the cryptic are written by members and therefore have some faults or need you to reconstruct a word without any indicators making them near impossible without a clue.
Not beginner friendly AT ALL, they really should provide some easier cryptics for learning as that would help introduce new people to the hobby.
App has lots of potential but isn’t very well executed, i hope to see the developers making some improvements.

I'm worried this review might give readers the wrong impression of Minute Cryptic. If you're someone who likes to learn by doing, the free daily clue is a great way for you to get started - it's free forever and comes with hints plus a 2 minute explanation video of that day's clue at the end. We've found this to be a fantastic way to introduce new people to solving cryptics! And we also have three free courses to play through - the best place to start. On the clues themselves, every cryptic publication makes editorial trade-offs - few clues are entirely compromise free - and Minute Cryptic's reflect a particular style that might not be to your taste. No hard feelings - other publications prioritise different styles and you might find something that clicks for you elsewhere. All our clues are workshopped with Liam Runnalls, our head clue writer, and embody a style and set of cryptic values that won't appeal to every solver. So, they're not unpolished, they're just opinionated. Angas (the guy in the videos)

Hi, thanks for trying the newest version of the app and for finding an edge case! We received similar feedback about the letter and we think it's to do with text-size settings. We've pushed a fix for it. Can you please try again and let us know if that's fixed that issue for you? If not, we'd love it if you could send us an email at support@minutecryptic.com so that we can dig into it further. Thanks again - Angas
