## What is MinuteONE?

Transcribe meetings, lectures, and interviews on your iPhone with no internet connection and no subscription. Your first 10 transcriptions are free. After that, one purchase unlocks MinuteONE for good.

Everything runs on the phone. MinuteONE uses Apple's on-device speech recognition and Apple Intelligence, so it works in Airplane Mode, in a building with no signal, or on a spare iPhone with no SIM card. There is no MinuteONE server, so your audio has nowhere to go and there is nothing for us to collect.

HOW IT WORKS
Tap record and the words appear on screen as people speak. When you stop, on-device AI writes a title, a short summary, action items with owners and deadlines, and the decisions that were made. Keep the transcript, export a report, or save the original audio file.

IMPORT AUDIO AND VIDEO
Already have a recording? Import audio from Files, or video from Files or Photos. MinuteONE pulls out the audio and transcribes it on the device.
Audio: M4A, MP3, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, CAF. Video: MP4, MOV, and other formats iOS can play.

TRANSCRIPTS YOU CAN READ
Transcripts come out as conversational turns with timestamps, with stutters and duplicated lines cleaned up. Play the recording back and the transcript highlights along with it.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
MinuteONE has no accounts and no servers. Nothing you record is uploaded or used to train anything. The live transcript is hidden from the app switcher.

TOOLS
- Export PDF, Markdown, or plain text reports
- Save the original audio file
- Send action items to Reminders
- Search, filter, and tag your meeting library
- Get an alert if you forget a recording is running
- Optional iCloud sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac

PRICING
Download free and use every feature for your first 10 transcriptions. Live recordings and imported files both count. Failed transcriptions don't. Then unlock MinuteONE permanently with a single $4.99 purchase (US price; other regions vary). One unlock covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac. No subscription, no monthly fee, no premium tier.

Buying the unlock needs a connection. Once Apple's on-device speech recognition and Apple Intelligence are set up on your device, recording, transcription, and summaries don't.

REQUIREMENTS
- iPhone 15 Pro or later, iPad with M1 or later, or Apple silicon Mac
- iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS 26 or later
- Apple Intelligence must be enabled for summaries, action items, and decisions

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-10-03

Bugfixes: Fixed transcripts that sometimes repeated sentences and the live preview that showed those repeats while recording.

### 1.3 — 2026-09-30

Now free to try.
Live transcription while you record, video import, cleaner transcripts, and fixes across recording, export, playback, and iCloud.

LIVE TRANSCRIPTION
Words appear on screen as they're spoken. Transcription runs on the device and no longer waits for the recording to end. You can turn the preview off in Settings for long sessions to save battery.

VIDEO IMPORT
Import video from Files or Photos. MinuteONE pulls out the audio, transcribes it, and writes the summary without uploading anything.

TRANSCRIPTS
Transcripts now read as conversational turns with timestamps. MinuteONE removes stutters and duplicated lines. On-device AI writes the meeting title instead of using the first five words of the transcript.

EXPORT
• PDF reports paginate correctly. Long transcripts no longer stop at page one.
• Save the original audio file from the Export menu. If the file is in iCloud, you see download progress first.
• Markdown and plain text exports use the same structure as the PDF.

RELIABILITY
• MinuteONE saves the recording before transcription starts, so a failed transcription never loses audio.
• Stopping a recording no longer hangs.
• iCloud downloads show progress and retry instead of giving up after 60 seconds.
• Library search covers every meeting, not only the most recent 500.
• If the database can't open at launch, the app explains why and offers a retry instead of crashing.
• Playback resumes correctly after interruptions, and transcript highlighting stays in sync.
• Summaries, action items, and decisions stay readable on devices without Apple Intelligence.

PRIVACY
• The live transcript is hidden in the app switcher.
• Diagnostic logs no longer contain filenames or error text.
• Calendar access is gone. MinuteONE no longer asks for it.

MinuteONE is now free to download. Your first 10 transcriptions are free with every feature included, and failed transcriptions don't count. After that, a single one-time purchase unlocks it permanently on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. There is no subscription.

Already bought MinuteONE? You keep full access and never pay.
