This will likely be my final year. The desktop version was updated but it’s also not that great. The quality has really changed. There are recordings I KNOW I recorded and processed that are gone. Not in the new storage feature either. Whatever update they recently did really ruined the quality. Sad to say after all this time. ### 2/5 — Don’t use this for important meetings *2026-06-22* For some reason this app chooses when it wants to work. I have had several meetings where the recordings and transcripts have failed to save and I would not suggest this for professional use. **Developer response:** We apologize for the frustration and the loss of your important meeting data. Now it’s condensed into 1.5 pages that’s missing a ton of key details. They pushed an update at some point that made everything worse. Also, you have to record longer meetings on voice memos, then import it (often times using a secondary app to compress the file) because if the app closes or your phone locks during the meeting, it loses everything. ### 2/5 — BEEARE Recoded Meeting Dropped, NO MINUTES -better have a backup plan *2026-05-13, version 1.12* Recorded meeting using this app on my iPad. Went to transcribe and it does endless circles saying it is 100% complete. Circles don’t stop. Finally have to X out and recording disappears. Have used probably 6 times to record meetings. Twice the app has failed me. I don’t know if that was on the fine-print, but still, I thought a free trial was a FREE trial. But other than that, the app is nice overall. R.I.P my 3.99 tho ### 3/5 — Functionality *2026-04-30, version 1.11.1* The app is good but there are times we are jumping off to so many other assignments. We can forget to save the recording then the app do not auto-save or put the recordings into an archive for an option to transcribe and summarize meeting. I’ve lost so many recordings like this…. If it’s on pause for too long or if the app stays on my iPad background. This glitch should be updated ### 3/5 — Deleted recordings *2026-04-29* The claims to record in the background, however if you paused that app and go onto another app, it would delete your recording. Lost nearly 2 hours worth of recordings and no way to get it back **Developer response:** We apologize for the loss of your recording. There is an option in the app to cancel, but it won’t let you cancel. It will say “no subscription” and then it will just reappear! I tried to reach out to the developer and they won’t assist. ### 2/5 — Beware *2026-03-26, version 1.10.1* Tried the 7 day free trial. Used it once for a meeting and the app was ok and easy to use. Went camping and attempted to cancel before the trial ended. But due to my location I did not have good signal and the Apps app kept spinning. I was a day late on the 7 day trial and cancelled right away. Explained I was outside service and still no refund. I guess just make sure if you’re going to cancel do it right away. ### 3/5 — Hoa meeting *2026-03-12, version 1.9.14* I would really like to see the app to understand which speaker is which. Maybe the speakers need to be a bit clearer also. Overall I think this will be a solid app ### 2/5 — Okay, but buggy, can’t rely on it. *2026-03-11* Midway through a recording I hit pause. The app displays an alert to say it’s paused. Went back to continue with the recording, and the app crashed, losing the recording. Bitterly disappointing. Going to buy a dictaphone instead. Unfortunately, it did not and I missed it. It’s garbage. ### 1/5 — Used for a year -I get other peoples audio and conversations semi regularly- safety risk do not use *2026-02-24* I have used this app for a while, its mostly been working but occasionally I would get through a meeting, only to find that it has recorded, only for it to have someone else’s transcript, audio recording and content. This is a huge security risk and is unacceptable in 2026. The first time this happened I reached out to support but it wasn’t clear why. Support ensured me that it was unusual. This has happened twice more, both times were critical meetings which are now lost and in exchange, I’ve received some random notes from elsewhere, so i can only assume someone else has my meeting details. Obviously nothing like this is ever going to be perfect but I challenge anyone to find something so accurate, useful, easy to use and value for money.
