This app needs an update about every two days and if you miss one of those updates it will not let you take a photo when the notification comes. Disappointing to get the notification and then have the app bug over and over. But the learning curve “curved”and I think I’ve settled into the minutiae of how it works. I’ve been enjoying capturing my daily photo and seeing photos from other users somewhere else in the world. I’m still missing the opportunity to take a photograph every now and again, if I’m in a mtg at work, or something like that… but that’s just part of it. I’m enjoying the app! ### 2/5 — Concept *2026-08-08, version 6.19* I definitely love the concept of this app but the biggest problem is that. Yes you get notifications for when the app wants you to take the picture but sometimes it lags and your not given enough time to snap and if you miss the notification to take a picture, it just fills in a black blank photo and you can’t click on it. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that there’s a whole concept behind this. I feel like there are some things that should be openly accessible for the users to be able to change, such as if a photo opportunity is missed they can select the blank photo and recapture a moment. ### 5/5 — Wonderful App *2026-08-08, version 6.19* I love using this. You get to share all of your photos from all different places sometimes depending on when it’s time for you to. I love seeing the photos of other people’s area because at times it’s halfway around the world. Unfortunately, the notification system has been unreliable enough that I can’t depend on it. To be clear, this is not a phone settings issue. I’ve already verified my notification settings, Time Sensitive Notifications are enabled, Focus and Do Not Disturb are configured correctly, and I’ve restarted my phone. I also worked in tech, so I know how to troubleshoot before assuming something is broken. Yes, I use Do Not Disturb at night, and I expect notifications to be silenced then. That’s not the problem. The issue happens during normal waking hours when my phone is unlocked, Do Not Disturb is off, and notifications should come through. My phone can be sitting right in front of me, and it won’t make a sound or display a notification. The only time I reliably see a notification is if I’m actively using my phone and happen to catch the banner the instant it appears. Otherwise, I often don’t discover the notification until hours later. What’s especially frustrating is that the developer response told me to check my phone settings—the very thing I had already explained was not the issue. That makes me wonder whether my review was actually read before responding. This is a great idea for an app, and I genuinely want it to succeed, but the notification bug needs to be addressed because timely notifications are the entire point of the experience. Original review: I really love the concept of this app, and when the notifications come through as they should, it’s fantastic. Unfortunately, reliability has been a major issue. A surprising number of notifications never alert me when they’re first sent. I’ve verified that it isn’t my phone or notification settings, and I’ve even tried restarting my device, but the problem persists. Instead of receiving timely alerts, I’ll often discover notifications hours later, which defeats the purpose of having them.
