Somewhere near you, someone knows where the fireflies are. Someone keeps bees on a Bed-Stuy roof, drives up to the Catskills in October for mushrooms, fires a sauna in the Rockaways as the light goes. Miracle is the club where those people host each other. Open the app and you see what members near you are opening up: a record-shop crawl on the Lower East Side, a letterpress night in Gowanus, a rooftop stargaze for whoever is still awake. Ask the host for a spot, sort out the day in messages, and go. The ticket stays with you afterward, with the photographs from it. Everyone hosts, too. You share the thing you would show a friend who was visiting. No expertise needed. The nicher, the better. Spots are what keep it even, and the whole rule is three lines: Every member starts with a spot on the house. Host a guest, earn a spot. Spend spots on any experience, anywhere. The map on an experience page was asking for tiles a third of the size it drew them at, which turned street names to mush. That is fixed. Photographs are kept large enough for the screen they fill. A picture taken on a phone is tall and narrow, and the app was storing it too narrow for the size it draws, so covers and faces looked soft. New pictures are kept wide enough, and one that is too small to look good is turned down as you choose it, with the reason. Postcards print the picture you chose. Add your own photograph and that is what goes on the front. If it is too small for paper, the app says so while you are choosing, rather than after the card is in the post. ### 2.2 — 2026-08-21 The app answers the moment you touch it. Confirming, declining and cancelling now happen as you tap, instead of after a pause — and you feel each one. Explore no longer waits on your messages to load, so the club is there when you open it. Opening your first experience keeps everything you give it. Your photograph is saved the second you choose it, so closing the app and coming back finds your work where you left it rather than an empty screen. The first question asks the thing it actually means: what experience will you bring people to. Photographs are full size again. Faces across the club were being stored much smaller than the app draws them, which left them looking rough on a profile. They are back at full resolution. Every card you can open, you can now swipe down to close. ### 2.1 — 2026-08-21 Going back works, everywhere. Tap back and you land where you were — the same page, at the same place on it. No jumping to the top, and no watching the app scroll itself down to find your spot again. Opening the map, moving between your plans, or checking a price no longer loses the list behind it. Addresses find the right place. Typing a street or a house number now looks where you actually are, instead of offering a town on the other side of the world — and it still finds your address if you have moved. Opening your first experience keeps what you type. Step back and your answer is still there. You can also set what it costs from the last screen before you open the door, including free, and it is still there if you close the app and come back. Sharing an invite now sends the app itself, so whoever you invite can open it straight away. ### 1.9 — 2026-08-18 A fix for the one that mattered: on some iPhones the setup and edit screens could zoom in and stay zoomed, dragging the whole app with them, with no way back out. The app no longer zooms at all — the way the rest of your phone behaves. Texts read better too. A message now shows you what was actually said, and which experience it is about, so you can tell what needs you without opening anything. ### 1.8 — 2026-08-17 Signing in is a phone number and a texted code now. There is no password to make or to forget. The app opens on a short introduction to the club, rebuilt from the ground up. And when a member asks you for a spot, books one, or writes to you, the club texts you and sends a notification.
