Had a photo heavily modified and not picked up on that. Tried to get a refund as won’t use again. I bought so I could detect edited photos then I tried on a photo I took unedited and it said heavily edited. This is fake. Then I edited a photo and it didn’t em detect it ### 1/5 — It’s a scam *2023-06-07* I downloaded this knowing it wouldn’t work and there would be micro transactions at some point. I first put in an obviously edited photo, and it told me “22% light edited photo, PAY NOW TO SEE EDITS?!” At first I was kind of convinced, because I was like wow maybe it did detect it. So for reasoning purposes, I put in a regular photo just taken with absolutely no edits. The app then proceeds to tell me that it is “33% EXTREMELY EDITED PHOTO” then prompted me to pay again. I kept putting in normal different photos and every time is was a different answer. So - save the room on your device and don’t download this waste of time. ### 1/5 — My bad *2023-05-17, version 2.2.2* Justa scam. App doesn’t work and guess what?? It continued to say there was substantial editing. However, I took my friends photoshopped photo because I noticed she didn’t hide the bar behind her where it’s all bent and the other side is straight so you see it’s photoshopped but said it wasn’t edited then when I ran it again it stated there was a 50% on the photo. I tried it myself by photoshopping a photo. The app was amazing at detecting the changes. It is better at detecting morphing etc rather than smoothing, in case that was the issue other people are having. **Developer response:** Hi, Thanks a lot! We’re just as confused by the negative reviews, perhaps we should have been more clear. P.S - If you like the app, do spread the word! Best, Team Mirage ### 5/5 — Great start! *2020-06-04* Really great idea! Some UI feedback, Something to indicate no editing was found. It’s confusing to say “here are the change” and then not display anything. The toggle button on the changes page isn’t intuitive and I don’t know what it does until I tap it. As other said on reddit, some type of share sheet action would be nice, or maybe an auto crop feature, at least for Instagram screenshots. A+ for going to single purchase. I would not have subscribed to this but would and did happily pay a couple bucks for it. ### 5/5 — Works as described! *2020-06-04* Easy to detect which images are edited now 😃 ### 3/5 — Clever idea but needs polish *2020-06-21* Very excited to see where this application goes. It does seem to be prone to lots of false positives though. One in particular seems to be my beard. ### 2/5 — Barely works and a bit scammy *2020-11-02* First of all, the “undo editing” feature is a scam. I paid for it and even the most obviously edited pictures (with heavy detecting by the app itself) remain identical after clicking this feature. So don’t even bother spending your money on it. Also, I’ve been trying to use this app for a long time. In the first few tries it did show some interesting results, but now it barely ever detects any editing. I’ve been uploading images I edited myself and others that are very clearly warped (you can see the blurry pixels and wavy background) and still the app barely detects any tampering. It’s an awesome idea and I applaud the people who created it, but in my opinion it still needs a lot of work. ### 2/5 — The app doesn’t work very good *2020-06-29* The app only work with faces.
